As our timeline shows we filed our AOS last January of this year and finally got our interview schedule this coming September 25. I am now preparing the documents required to be brought as indicated in the notice. It is clearly stated there that documents alredy submitted with the AOS application need not be brought during the interview like the Affidavit of Support, Ceritificate of Employment, ITR and COmpleted Medical Examination Form. I have xerox copies of everything.

Do we need to bring another set of original Affidavit of Support, Certificate of Employment and ITR during the interview? I know the notice clearly states bring them UNLESS ALREADY SUBMITTED but I just want to hear from those who have been there.

Thanks in advance :) and Godbless everyone.

I havent been in your position yet, but after reading many many posts here, you will need just "proof of evidence" that you are currently married and living together under the same roof like phone bills, joint accounts, rental agreements, under your name and spouse name.. Anything with your name and your spouse name under the same current address will be sufficent to prove you are living in the same address. Get also pictures of you together with other family members as proof of continuing relationship... My hubby recently added me to his bank account and now we are "joint-account" holders and also ordered checks using both our names on the check... Im using those to prove that we are living together. We got several pictures from my niece and nephews birthday parties with my aunt and uncles who are living nearby and submitting those when and if we ever get an interview for AOS. We currently live with my hubby's sister and we both pay rent to her so we are planning to make a "rental agreement" contract that my husband and I currently live in her house and pay rent... My new job has my address to our current address, showing that I do live with my husband.. and will show that when I get my first paystub in 2 weeks... I hope you get the idea... these are what we will be submitting when we get our AOS interview. good luck.

Thanks a lot. Yes I have all those as I followed the instructions in the notice. I am more concern of the documents I enumerated above whether to bring another original copies or not during the interview sicne I already submitted them when we filed the AOS application.

Goodluck to you too :)

Definitely bring copies of all documents already submitted!! Very often they ask for one or more of the documents because they "Can't find it" in your file. How ridiculous! Better safe than sorry so BE PREPARED!! Good luck!
