So the choice of agent 3032 is the first form to be completed. Then they want the DS 230 Part 2 at NVC. My lawyer told me my wife had to fill that out and send it in. I think if she signs line three and her Chinese signature at the end. I can fill out the rest here and send it in. The lawyer says she will need it for the embassy. I told her we needed it for NVC. Correct me if I am wrong. Part 2 goes to NVC with Part 1 going to the embassy during the interview. She also told me that the I 864 also goes to the embassy during the interview. Correct me if I am wrong again. But doesn't the I 864 Affidavit of Support also go to NVC. I want to get this right now so that I can prepare the paperwork here ahead of time so that I am ready. It takes forever to send and receive mail from China and I don't want to lose any more time then neccessary.

Sometimes, I do not think the lawyer know what she is doing. However, I have already paid her in full. If, I knew what I know now I would have never use a lawyer. But, hind site is 20/20 as we all say. I just want to make sure I am doing all all I can instead of depending on her. I am sure that the lawyer is only going to slow things down going forward.

Read the guides and the flowchart. The entire 230 goes to NVC. She only signs the first part on Page 2. She doesn't sign the second. Make sure she has that part clear. You are right about line 3. She has to write her name there.

Essentially, everything goes to NVC on the next round of docs.

On the DS230 Part number one I need her to put on question number three her name in Chinese. Then on page two I should have her sign it and not date it. What about part two? Should I have her fill it out and not sign it and send it to the NVC without signing it?

Yes on her name on page 1. Why shouldn't she date page 2? Yes, fill out part 2, but do not sign. And since we're being a little bit ####### about this -- she should fill out up until #34 on page 4. She should not fill out #35 or sign at the bottom.

i wasn't going to date until NVC request it. yes I am a little anil because I do not want and RFE at all. I sure you understand that the wait has been long enough. Thanks for all the information and I am glad you are now at NVC. I am trying to be patient and wait my turn. The reasons, I have asked is because I think the lawyer does not know what they are doing and have made this more then confusing for me. If, it wasn't for people like you and others here at VJ. I am sure many of us would get many RFE. We would also be very stressed with no support.
