Vaccines for AOS

Before my fiance arrives here in the States from Brazil, I want him to get as many required vaccinations as possible. He read the vaccine document that the medical doctor gave him and for the vaccines that he needs the doctor wrote that he is not age appropriate. Is that correct that he's not of the appropriate age for the following vaccines:

Hepatitis A

Pneumococcal

Influenza

Rotavirus

Meningococcal

Hep A is usually given between the ages of 1 and 2 years. Pretty sure there is an adult version though, used particularly in people that are travelling.

Pnuemococcal is given up to age 2, at least this is true of the Pneumo-7 vac. However, there is a Poly-Pneumo-23 vac for high-risk adults like those with chronic lung issues or immune system issues.

Influenza may be just the flu vac which appropriate for all ages but only during certain months of the year. They may be talking about H. Flu, Hemophilus Influenza (Hib) which can cause meningitis and that is only given up to age 2.

Rotavirus is only given to infants up to 32 weeks of age, if older children or adults catch Rota, you are miserable for a few days but it is not really that harmful usually. It is used only for the babies first Rota season because infants can become severely dehydrated and in some places in the world a lot of them die.

Meningococcal is given now at age 11. This is the meningitis one that kids always used to get before going to college. I don't think it is given over age 21.

My knowledge is based only on U.S CDC recommendations, particularly those of my state, so I could very well be wrong about some of this. I hope this helps.

Thank you both very much for your quick responses. I am so relieved. He has all required vaccines.
