I've read in different posts that when you get into the consulate an officer asks everyone to arrange their documents in a special order.... Does anyone know which order is this? I'm probably going to be SO nervous that I just want to go there and get it over with as soon as possible and if I start rearranging papers I'll probably loose them or something...

TKS!

You will most likely have plenty of time to rearrange the documents in the order they request. Everyone at the consulate on the day we were there all had lots of time to get it done before we were called up to the counter. It really isn't that big of a deal to do it there.

Good luck at the interview.

Dont waste your time arranging your paperwork in any order. We spent all night arranging them and when we were at the embassy, the lady at the window got mad at us because it was in order in a folder and she said she didnt have time for that  So i would suggest just put your paperwork in a way you know where they are when they ask for them and of course separate your paperwork from your fiance's. If you have any question, dont hesitate to ask.

I imagine consulates will differ in how they want things presented. Generally though they dont seem to like things in folders as this takes time to remove the requested documents. Go by the order in the instructions you receive in the packet and before going to the counter make sure they are all out of the folder in that order.
