Can't get my case status on line

Hi, is this strange? My case number can't be recognized on uscis website.

It has been 2 weeks, should I be worried about this?

Wait another 2 weeks, and no you shouldnt worry abou it.. most of the time, AOS receipts arent posted until 2 to 4 weeks after receiving your case.. You have such a long wait... if you are already worried in only 2 weeks, how are you going to make it through 4 to 8 months of waiting?

It's not strange. It's actually quite common. Many people cannot see their cases online, especially in the early stages. Lots of them can be seen online after the biometrics have been done.

I didn't see my I-485 case for over 6 months (even after biometrics) and then only because I moved and changed my address with USCIS.

I just recently sent in my EAD (didn't think I'd need one, but the process takes so long) and it was viewable online the day I received the NOA for it.

Don't worry about it. It can make you crazy if you see it online, too, since the status rarely changes for months.

I've been waiting for over a month already and I still can't view my case. Some people aren't able to view their cases ever. So don't worry too much, plus it's only been 2 weeks so take it easy cause you have a long way ahead of you!
