Hey hey Happy Sunday MENA! just going to throw in my thoughts about the Obama issue... personally I would love to have a conservative black man for President but I just dont see that as Obama... wish someone else was running other than he and McCain.

Ok, GGirl heres how I see it, just like if any of the MENA muslim daddys here had sons that grew up, if that son grew up and decided to be Christian later on in life... half the world would see him Mulim still and half maybe would see him Christian... I put in my mind along time ago... Half the world will hate you and half the world will love you, half the world will agree with you and the other half wont... basically meaning ... just make your decisions in life and go on...

that has always been and always will be how things are in life... its not just in America but that statement would be true all over bcz people are people and everyone has their own thoughts and opinions for everything!

Ok guys I have to vent this, because I am losing it here. Why do people think Obama is a Muslim? Of course he is not, but even if he was a Muslim, what does that have to do with running for President of the United States? What happen to separation of church and state, I guess the constitution doesn’t mean anything anymore to the people. The outright prejudice of Muslims is nasty in this country. I am not religious at all, but in this country, I thought that we can have our own personal faith without prosecution, but maybe I was wrong, because I just saw some videos my daughter sent me and they were asking people about Obama, and they were saying he was raised Muslim, I am like WHAT DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH THE ELECTION??????? I also heard from some people his name is not WHITE ENOUGH. I am really shocked at the ignorance of a lot of people. The funny thing and the sad thing is that the poor man is Christian, and his own people are calling him a Muslim. I guess if you are Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, and just plan atheistic, you are not really an American. Sorry about this rant, but I hate people who hate someone just because of a religion or culture, I thought we came a lot farther than that, but I just feel like slapping some of these people. I just want a president that can get America back on track, if it is through a Muslim, so be it, because we should have separation of church and state, but as we all know since the Patriot act the constitution just doesn’t guarantee your rights anymore. Ok, done with my rant, what happened to civil rights and treating all people fairly, oh I am sorry doesn’t count unless you are white middle class Christian.

Separation of Church and State is not in the Constitution.

I guess folk assume 0bomba is / was Muslim because his father was Muslim.

Morning everyone! Kamal made some herira soup last night and some egyptian dish, kolarshi, or something like that. Yum it was good. anyway today is a lazy day. I have a 2 year old b-day party to go to. Oh yea. I'm not really in the mood to go but i will.

I made that also the Koshari it took some time to make but it was worth it for Mohamed he said it was really good.

HLM, I'm still not home, just going over there everyday to check on things and do some work during daylight hours. We are still at my parent's home. I did just apply for some FEMA assistance, so we'll see how that goes. I *may* be able to get some help w/ lost wages. I'm pooped... going take a nap.

i'm getting ready to close my pool up i hate doing this!so as i'm ready to take off the ladder i notice a bee in the pool..awwww i hate bees but i dont want him to drown either so i run to go get the net and i save him...yay!!!!then that ####### is attacking me after i save his sorry A$$!!! i'm swatting him away and he is literally chasing me around the pool, i save this bee's life and this is the thanks i get! next time i'll let it just die that ungreatful bee!!

i responded back to that guys comment... that is sick and messed up! I love my cats! even if they hug my feet in the morning for attention while I walk through the house... at least I know they are alive and having fun in the morning!

It is really just them showing love and giving companionship. I love that my cat follows me around. Only problem I have is I swear she is going to kill me on the stairs one of these days, lol

Personally i don't think that's an good thing to look at whats his background , color , religion and race .

Lets think of what he can do for USA and for the whole world . Everyone looking forward to see this world lives in peace and happiness without wars , diseases , injustice.

I agree with sister Tamara about our kids in the future , that everyone has their own thoughts and opinions , so our kids could pick any religion they like , All what we can do just raise them so well , teach them our cultures and thoughts and religions and they have the choice to choose !

It's poeple showing what kind of disrespectful and utterly disgusting wastes of human skin they are... this isn't about liking or disliking animals, it's about advocating animal cruelty and illegal activities... and a total lack of respect for life all-together. I don't know if those posts are even still up, but if they aren't, overnight it got really bad.
