Dear Visajourney members

my fiance in US finally got NOA1, he told me that the letter instructed him to call the number they provided. Is it a bad sign? any bad news from them?

It's still on weekend so they are closed. Wondering what it could be ...

thank you

I checked ours just to be sure, but it says to call if any info. on the NOA1 is incorrect, or if there is a delay past the current processing times, or if you no longer want/need the petition to proceed. In other words - no need to call unless something is wrong.

Hope that helps.

The letter says he may call and describes circumstances under which he might do so. Those circumstances are the petition has not been approved by thirty days after USCIS's published processing dates. This is a non-issue. Your fiance needs to read very carefully and interpret literally.
