Received initial Interview Notice

Hello. Everyone!

I'm waiting for EAD and AP forever!

and today I got an interview Notice for July 10th in Dever

here we have little problem.

My husband just decided to join the military and he will be joining in June 10th.

so my question is that he will be in the basic military training in july 10th.

what should we do? I searched posts and many people said don't reschedule the interview..

He can't wait a month cuz we can't pay the bills and stuff.

any advice?

Isn't there some way to get in touch with the interviewing INS office and reschedule the interview since he is in the military shouldn't it count for something.

I think families in the military should have first priority,especially what stresses family have to suffer due to this Iraq thing.

also, items we need to bring to the interview should be originals? or copies are fine?

such as birth certificate and tax return forms....

You should bring all original documents along with a copy of each one. The interviewer will want to look at the originals once he is satisfied to their authenticity he may ask for a copy from You.

I'm pretty sure you can interview without your husband there if he is away on orders. I beleive there was a VJ poster who did just that.

should I call USCIS customer center phone number and ask? of make an infopass and ask them?
