Hi, i'm new here but have been using the site for much needed valuable information, so thanks so far!!

We mailed our I-129F yesterday to Vermont but once we got home realised that we forgot to include both of our Letters of Intent to Marry, i'm soooo upset and worried??!! What should we do?? We are going to mail them seperately but as we don't have a File number yet we don't know if they will be able to link them up? Has anyone else been in a similar situation? Does anyone have any advice on the best thing to do? What do you think will happen to our application?

Thank you so much in advance for any help you may be able to offer, i'm distraught! :help:

Best advice is to sit tight - try not to worry - don't send anything to USCIS that they didn't ask for. You'll get to supply a second (or in your case first) letter for the interview. You should be fine.

Thanks for replying....so don't send them seperately then?? Only thing is, i'm flying back to the UK later today and I want to feel like everything is taken care of! Will we automatically get an RFE?

One other question, when and how will we receive a file number so that we can track the progress of our application online?

Well sorry to hear that . but don't be mad cause it happens .

i think yeah maybe you will get a RFE asking for the letter of intent to marry .

they will send you the NOA1 (notice of action ) to your email and then to your mail . and you will find your case number in that NOA1 .

then all what you have to do is go to USCS site and then check your case online. or you can register and they will send you emails every time they touch your papers

Good luck and best wishes for ya

Nothing's impossible . Nothing's unreachable .When I am weary you make me stronger

This love is beautiful .So unforgettable . I feel no winter cold when we are together .

Will you stand by me ?!!!Hold on and never let me go .

Will you stand by me?!! With you i know i belong . When the story gets told .

When day turns into night .I look into your eyes . I see my future now .All the world and its wonder

This love wont fade away. And through the hardest days . I will never question us .You are the reason my only reason.

I'm blessed to find what i need in a world loosing hope. you are my only believe .

You make things right every time after time.....

No - don't send anything unless you get an RFE (which may not even happen for a Letter of Intent).

You will receive an I-765 Notice of Action (the first one you get we call the NOA1) - this will have your case number on it.

Thanks, i'm already starting to feel a little better, jut to know they will still start processing it without the letters is a weight off my mind, its taken so long just to get to this point!!

Yeah they will most likely send a RFE. From what i have read on other threads etc. it shouldn't slow down the process too much.

I have also read on other sites/threads, and as somebody above me correctly pointed out - you shouldn't send anything to them without them asking for it.

I wouldn't worry yourself too much, as it is very common to accidently leave something out.

Hope it goes well for you!

No, don't send them anything as it will never find your file and will be a waste of your time.

Also, you can get your EAC # from the back of your check once it's cleared your bank (if your bank has this service available).

I've seen some people go through without an RFE for the letter of intent and some RFE'd so it's a ####### shoot really...depends on the adjuticator. Nothing you can do about it now anyway so try not to sweat it.

Prepare the letter and just sit tight and wait.

They may send you an RFE (Request further evidence) for the letter.

Simply follow the instructions and mail it into them at that time.

Don't do it now.

Best of luck! :)
