I am a newbie here, Me and My wife have decided to stick out the K-3 route, I see no advantage to the CR-1 at this time .

Our paperwork has been fowarded to Guangzhou ,China to the consulate.

My question is pertaining to the fee for the Affidavit of Support (A.O.S.)

As we are doing the K-3 all fees are waived untill my wife is addmitted to the United States of America.

I have e-mailed NVC that we are doing the K-3 and have also include a letter with my wife,s( Choice Of Address And Agent) letter

Stating that I wish to continue the K-3 visa.

Has anybody stuck with the K-3 route and did you have to pay the 70 bucks? ( I was told by NVC I dont need to pay)

You can simply ignore all correspondence from NVC on the I-130.

Your spouse will need to pay the non-immigrant visa fee to a branch of Bank of China as instructed in her Packet 4 as well as the fee for the medical and 15 or 20 bucks to have the visa delivered, so there are more fees before she arrives in the US. The visa fee is $131 but she'll pay that in RMB as instructed in the P4.
