DS-156K

i'm about done with packet 3, and ready to send it in.

Step 1 - I send in DS-230 part 1, and form DS-156 (in duplicate), filled in electronicly, with glued on pictures and all. I send all that to the Consulate.

My question is, do i also send in DS-156K? It says in the packet 3, for step one, "Complete the single copy of the form ds-156k, nonimmigrant fiance(e) visa application", but doesn't specificly mention to send it in. So do i hang on to it and bring it to the interview, or do i send it in with the rest of the packet?

Send one copy to them and Bring one with you to the interview in the Embassy. Doesnt hurt when they get the copy ahead of time. I had to bring mine during the interview as Packet 3 was all downloaded in the Philippine Embassy website and brought to the interview for consul to review.

i had the same question and was advised NOT to send the "k" form but to bring to interview and sign in front of a official! good luck!
