If I have efiled my taxes and just have the copy saved without the signed copy we traditionally used to mail, would this tax return copy be accepted by NVC or embassy(I dont know where it is required at this point since I am still waiting for my NOA2).

You could print a copy of the full return, sign it and include copies of any W2 or 1099 forms or just request a tax transcript from the IRS.

Easiest and the "most preferred" is just to get copies of the last 3 years tax transcripts from IRS. No cost to you. 1- 800 829-1040. Takes about 1 week.

If you're in a hurry you can have them faxed to you the same day.

I just went to irs.gov and printed out a request, faxed it in. I received the transcripts in the mail 4 days later.
