Well stated :)

This was me on a average day thru my visa journey process:

one hour :crying: , next hour  , next hour  , next hour  , and then :innocent: Those were some difficult days, I wish everyone the best on their journey.

To Blessed to be stressed:) I realize that all things have a purpose and a time.....have faith and the Lord Almighty will provide... when the time is right, he NEVER fails!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

One Love I could not read all of what you posted as tears came flowing down! Thanks for showin us love! :) It is very hard when you are new and just starting out in the whole process!!! You have others who will say negative things about the country your fiance comes from or question his motives of wanting the relationship, you find out the cost is great etc.. and you start to feel Very overwhelmed!!!

When I call him his network is bad at times and then we can't talk as long, calls cost a lot so you can't call as often, he can't email as much b/c the internet cafe costs so much... We had an anniversary just come up and it was so hard for me!! :( He taught me how to make plantains and I cooked those on our anniversary as I was thinking of him=US. I felt bad b/c when I called him (on anniv) I could not say much as I was crying so bad. I cry myself to sleep, cry when I think of my family in my 2nd home Africa...

I told him the other day that its hard b/c I'm so very far away but I'm in a place I don't want to be b/c I want to be with him!!! I try to do things and be active to not have the heartache get so bad but it does not help! Even when out with friends I'm having a good time but I always say but it would be better if he was here. Or I sit some place and there is an empty seat near me I think wow I can't wait till he can be next to me. I don't even like eating at my dinner table as it seats two ( I call it table for two). :crying:

I write him a lot of poems. He jus called and after that.. Well lol you know what I did.. sigh

Sorry that I went on and on.. My future is so far away and I'm Missin him!

Most of the posts seem to be ones who are married or have their SO with them.. So thanks again for thinking of us!!!

I will hang in there! But its a hard road to travel!
