I 130 to NVC question

Once they mail your I 130 to NVC do you get an email or does the status change on the USCIS wesite or do you have to call NVC to find out?

USCIS

2007-11-23 : I-130 Sent

2007-11-28 : I-130 Received

2008-01-28 : NOA1

2008-08-13 : Filed Transferred from VSC to CSC

2008-08-14, 21, 22, 25 and 9/4 : Touched

2008-09-04 : I-130 NOA2 (Approved) Your I-130 was approved in 286 days from your filing date.

2008-09-05: Touched again

2008-09-09: I-130 NOA2 (hardcopy received)

NVC

2008-09-09 : NVC Received and Case Number Assigned

2008-09-16 : DS-3032 and AOS bill generated

2008-09-17: DS-3032 sent (by USPS and email)

2008-09-20: IIN received in Mail

2008-09-20 : AOS bill invoiced (paid online)

2008-09-24 : AOS bill PAID and cover sheet printed & AOS package sent to NVC

2008-09-24 : DS-3032 Choice of Agent accepted

2008-09-24 : IV bill paid and accepted on the 25th

2008-09-26 : AOS package received by NVC

2008-10-01 : Called today and was told that the AOS entered into NVC system and processed without errors

2008-10-20 : DS-230 sent to NVC

2008-10-23 : DS-230 entered into NVC system

2008-10-27 : RFE sent had issues with the marriage certificate and PCC

2008-11-25 : case complete at NVC

Embassy:

2008-01-27 : Interview at Embassy - Approved :)

Hey Jummy,

I think you have to call the NVC number and they will tell you if it is recieved. I don't believe you get any further communications on the USCIS Status check stuff.

I-130 for Two Step Children

App Recieved by USCIS: April 13, 2010

Notice Date: April 19, 2010

Notice Recieved: April 21, 2010

Touched: April 21, 2010

Touched: April 22, 2010

Approved:September 28,2010

I was approved by the USCIS in June and my staus online still has'nt changed, i didnt even recieve any touches.

I would call the NVC and ask if they have recieved your case yet. You can use the AVR and in put your USCIS number.

You can actually call NVC and check whether a case number as been assigned. You can check with your CIS receipt number.
