Thanks Nutty and Mermaid!

Separation that can go either way is what I am starting to consider.

He faked an orgasm on me. I am not offended.

But since honesty was always The most important part of relationship for me, my doubts Re: husband are growing.

He refused marriage counseling again. My two best girlfriends say RUN. I still hang on there, taking it day by day.

I was never concerned about fraud thing - because it was not, and I have plenty of evidence to show it.

It is the timing which bothers me.

And yes, moving to another state could help. 6 months residency vs 2 years separation (IL) is a world of a difference as far as timelines go. I did not have time to look closer at different state laws, but IL is pretty tough.

Sorry to hear about the way things are going with you.

A 6 month seperation is not a bad idea in that it could give you and your husband some time ALONE to reflect on how you want to proceed. Maybe he will change for the better and maybe you will decided to give another chance (depending on how many chances you have already given to him) - or - go ahead and divorce.

Since this marriage was entered into with honest intentions, there is no issue of marriage fraud.
