Wow!! Really!!! I wish we could live like that at home. We have the tyranny of a federal government that operates well outside of its constitutional mandate, economic blackmail from the IRS, social security administration and other federal agencies, and ample evidence of the federal government's willingness to invade states that do not go along with this tyranny (I refer you to the period between 1861-1864 among others).

PEOPLE: READ THE APPLICATION FORM INSTRUCTIONS!!!! They have a lot of good information in them! Most of the questions I see on VJ are clearly addressed by the form instructions. Give them a read!! If you are unable to understand the form instructions, I highly recommend hiring someone who does to help you with the process. Our process, from K-1 to Citizenship and U.S. Passport is completed. Good luck with your process.

Of course he'd say that... but its not really news is it...

I do think its particularly galling for this administration still has the audacity to lay claim to high ideology, when its bull in a china shop approach has caused no end of problems.

GWB came up with a good one during an interview he did at the Olympics - where he commented on the Russia / Georgia conflict - saying how he thought it was "interesting" that at "a time when we're trying to promote peace, someone has gone and started a conflict".

This lot are the masters of the pedestrian statement.

I cant imagine people have to endure this

when you come from AMERICA, unless you have experienced THE TRUE LIFE abroad for others, you tend to completely take your life for granted here.

I dont and I hope progress will continue worldwide to abolish this kind of oppression.

May 7,2007-USCIS received I-129f
July 24,2007-NOA1 was received
April 21,2008-K-1 visa denied.
June 3,2008-waiver filed at US Consalate in Panama
The interview went well,they told him it will take another 6 months for them to adjudicate the waiver
March 3,2009-US Consulate claims they have no record of our December visit,nor Manuel's interview
March 27,2009-Manuel returned to the consulate for another interrogation(because they forgot about December's interview),and they were really rude !
April 3,2009-US Counsalate asks for more court documents that no longer exist !
June 1,2009-Manuel and I go back to the US consalate AGAIN to give them a letter from the court in Colon along with documents I already gave them last year.I was surprised to see they had two thick files for his case !


June 15,2010-They called Manuel in to take his fingerprints again,still no decision on his case!
June 22,2010-WAIVER APPROVED at 5:00pm
July 19,2010-VISA IN MANUELITO'S HAND at 3:15pm!
July 25,2010-Manuelito arrives at 9:35pm at Logan Intn'l Airport,Boston,MA
August 5,2010-FINALLY MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!
August 23,2010-Filed for AOS at the International Institute of RI $1400!
December 23,2010-Work authorization received.
January 12,2011-RFE

Yep, to Cheney et al. it seems the American people are the terrorists, and we're spreading the love of a pseudo-Democracy.
