Got the email today!!!! :dance:

I was so sure we'd get an RFE:

1) Our tax returns for the last 3 years, although filed jointly, had different address from the rest of our evidences (Address of a house he owns, under his name only)

2) No joint car insurance

3) No affidavit (Didn't want to bother friends and family)

4) No joint credit cards

5) Driver's Licences have different addresses (DMV never processed his request)

But we did submit a ton of pictures, bills, health insurance, 401K, bank account statements and lease agreement.

Just one more step and the journey ends!

Awesome, I'm a week to week and a half behind you. I might get approved before my online status even appears (still hasn't!)

11th Aug 2008 - Mailed I-751 to CSC.

12th Aug 2008 - Application received

14th Aug 2008 - Cheque cashed

18th Aug 2008 - Received NOA-dated the 12th

26th Aug 2008 - Received Biometrics letter

4th Sept 2008 - Biometrics-Detroit-Complete-'Touched'

5th Sept 2008 - 'Touched'

1st Dec 2008 - APPROVED-Card production ordered -112 days

8th Dec 2008 - USCIS mailed approval notice.

8th Dec 2008 - Received my 10 year Greencard in the mail. took 2 days.

Although I have the above date for approval my card actualy states the

2nd December..

Its going to be good weekend alright. I'll probably double check my receipt number again when I get home. And I hope that card production ordered really means card production ordered :P .

I renewed my driver's license last week just in case I didn't get approved before it expired, oh well, that's the least of my concerns now.

Cool! Did n't even think about joint car insurance! (my wife does not drive)

Interesting about the affidavits though!

10 weeks til we sent our stuff in now and it looks thin compared to some that I have read here:

going for the minimalistic approach and see what happens:

4-5 joint bank account statements - one for every 6 months

4 Disposal utility bills - one for every 6 months

copy of joint ownership of house

copy of joint mortgage

copy of health insurance

copy of airplane tickets from last years holidays

no pics - we only take pics of scenery!

and a couple of affidavits

and the mandatory stuff

about an eighth to a quarter of an inch

Congratulations! I live in the city next to you and also got my new card ordered today! What a weird coincidence with you, me and walls all in San Bernardino county (although, they sent me to the Pomona office for biometrics) and all being approved so close together. :dance:
