Just a quick reminder incase you didn't know. you need to fill out and sign 4 copies each.

sorry if you already know this, but me and my fiance didn't realize this at first.

best of luck to you! :)

Thanks Neil. My SO did sign all 4 copies but I've printed them out as double sided. Does that matter or does each sheet need to be printed on an individual page? In case we eventually get RFE...

Also does anybody know how long does one have to wait before getting worried that NOA1 has not been received? Is it safe to assume that package did not arrive if the cheque has not been cashed within a month of sending it? Should we then send everything all over again?

So many questions....

Thanks everybody for your comments. Much appreciated as usual.

Impossible to send two pieces of paper to four places but you'll probably be ok anyway. You ever try to read a bound file full of two sided pages? Bad idea. Don't do it with your later filings. Some of the adjudicators are just to old to stand on their heads to read the back sides of papers.

:D OK, everything goes as single sheets from now on. And here I was trying to think of the environment ;-).

A tidbit about forms that I found to be interesting. When submitting the AOS forms, some lawyers print the forms on both sides of the paper, with the back side printed upside down. They use a two hole clip to bind the package together at the top, therefore the USCIS employee reading the forms just flips the page up to read the second side of the paper.

I had to send original signatures only, my lawyer advised that they would only accept original copies. I wanted to scan and send mine over to David so he could mail it but instead i had to wait for the snail mail to deliver from uk to usa.

We mailed our application on the 25th July, having heard nothing for over 30 days we aggravated our lawyer until she called uscis on our request, the noa1 had been mailed out but had not been recieved maybe worth calling your lawyer.
