The fastest way is through his employer, try to read "this" it might also help you... This is my fiance's reference.

Good Luck :)

Many companies aren't set up to 're-print' W-2s. If this is for proof of income, why not order tax transcripts from the IRS? (you then wouldn't need the W-2)

I thought companies were required to keep copies of this information for a certain number of years afterwards...I had to request copies from both of my employers and both of them could provide it in a couple of days (even the completely disorganized, inept one...if there's one thing you don't want to screw around with, it's the IRS). Maybe your fiance made the request through the wrong department? Either way...the tax transcripts will provide all of the proof they need, so if he can't get the W2 he can just request the transcript directly from the IRS. It's free and only takes a couple of weeks.

The transcripts from the IRS that I ordered just by sending a faxed Form 4506 (as another poster above recommended) arrived to me in only 5 days. In fact, I prefer the neat way the transcripts look in comparison to the W2's. :)

I just printed a blank Form 4506, filled out the information requesting the last 3 years transcripts be sent to me, faxed it the number provided and they arrived so fast that I was amazed.

Good luck. Relax.....This is not a big problem at all.
