I GOT APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I checked my email first thing, nothing, then went to CIS website, checked my status and saw there was a touch 9/4/08, so I clicked my case # and OMGOMGOMG it said 'Approval notice sent'.......!!!!!!!!!

I am SOOOOOOOOO relieved because I was halfway expecting an RFE because of a couple of issues(Govi's PP photo and my name change) but no I think it's for real....

I am in shock right now......

Thanks everybody, it's still sinking in - I just finished chatting with Govi and he can't believe it - now we need to get everything all together for NVC. He usually goes to his village in southern Nepal for the upcoming festivals but because of the floods there(roads are closed) and high gas prices many families are staying in the capital this year - it's all for the good because he needs to stay put to receive stuff from NVC and KTM USEM. I hope we can all go to visit in the spring when I will be going to bring him home with me :luv: - Sadly I have never met his extended family.

It's gonna be a busy rainy Saturday!!!

CRIS and SPAM? I think they kinda go together....anyways, congratulations! it's very surprising that you got this during Ganesh Festival, which is going in India right now.

Yes, our local temple is dedicated to Ganesh so it has been going on here as well. There is a big Ratha Yatra festival on Sunday, hope Hanna will have cleared out by then. :) I have been going to the temple almost every day and was hoping maybe it might be approved by the end of Ganesh Chaturthi(Sunday) but didn't really expect it until maybe the end of next week.

I am going to keep praying to Ganapatiji for everyone else who has been waiting that he will remove all of our obstacles to being with our loved ones - I know it will happen soon.

It will come soon - I really wasn't expecting to be aproved before the 8/6 and 8/14 transferees so it was a shock to me!!!
