I saw that an ancient thread by Linda was resurrected, and realized I haven't heard from her since before the 4th of July (when she was to leave for Vietnam). She's disappeared before, but never for this long. Anybody heard from her?

Then there are those who think she was just a fake. Not a real person. Just someone having fun. Not saying it's true, but one does have to wonder. The Net is overflowing with such things. Fakery is everywhere.

OK, fair enough. I can see that. Was it just a little too entertaining for real life? Maybe, sine qua non a couple of things, such as the fact that she speaks Vietnamese a little too well for a California girl, and she did attend Peter and Thi's wedding in person. So I think she's real enough. But we don't call her Crazy Linda for nothing......

Thuy (Linda) is real and she does speak Vietnamese extremely well. At our wedding she, Thi and Theresa (another Vietnamese woman) spent a lot of time talking to each other in Vietnamese. They didn't have any trouble talking.

The last I heard from her was she was going back to Vietnam to be with Tan until her divorce was final. Then she would come back and file the I-129f papers. They can't stand being apart.
