first time immigrant discount

hi everyone, are there people on K1 here who were able to get first time immigrant discount from the travel agency? thanks....jasmine

they give discounts when u buy it from travel agents in manila and i think they would ask u to pay in cash..happy trip!

thanks hanny! i have called several travel agencies and they won't give me the discount because k1 is non-immigrant . i have already booked a flight to a travel agency but i did not tell her i'm on k1 so she might retract the discount when I tell her i'm on K1 so now i'm looking for other agencies but unfortunately they won't give me discount....oh well

Hi jas . I used a travel agency when I went over here. I wasn't given the discount because the agent told me that K-1 is not considered an immigrant. I just don't know if it was really true though . Tinamad na akong maghanap ng iba

Travel agency is right when is the K1 become immigrant don't insist you might look funny to them better look for lowest fare or purchase advance ticket.

hi, my travel agent tried to get din a 1st time immigrant discount for me pero PAL did not allow it kasi k-1 is technically non-immigrant daw. it depends on the airline ata, not on the travel agency. eh i really wanted PAL so hindi na ko nagpahanap ng iba. as konswelo, ipunin ko nalang daw mabuhay miles hehe. goodluck on your ticket hunting!

yeah..better nlang maghanap ng pinaka murang fare keysa maghanap pa ng discount d naman yata ganun kalaki ung discount..happy trip!!

tiga saan ka ba? ung agency reli tours sa sm southmall pero may mga branches sila. ito ung contact info. ung binigay sa akin P34,250 kasama na travel tax PAL non stop going SFO. un na yung pinakamura na nahanap ko kase madami na din akong natawagan...jasmine
