Here is a checklist I made for myself:

AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT CHECKLIST

A) -- Statement from a teller at BECU and Frontier Bank

□ Date the Account was opened

□ Total Deposited for the Past Year

□ Present Balance

B) – Statement from employer (see AffidavitTemplate.doc)

□ On Company Letterhead

□ Salary Paid

□ Whether position is temporary or permanent

C) – Additional Materials

□ Copy of Life Insurance which includes the value

I've checked the poverty line critera and made sure the petitioners income is 125% above as stated on the I-134. Does he need to submit pay-stubs? I remember reading somewhere that he needs to submit 3 pay-stubs

bride2be,

He needs to document his current level of income to the satisfaction of the consular officer who is processig your visa application. Paystubs are good for this and so are typically provided when income comes from employment, but are not necessary (few things are) unless the consular officer says, 'I want it'.

Pay stubs are good...the past 3-4 will be enough. Also, W2s and tax forms are good a source for proof of financial stability.
