RFE for I-693 or vaccination supplement only? Help!

Hello Everyone,

We received an RFE for our I-485.

One page has a checked box next to "...you need to submit a properly completed and signed Form I-693..."

The next page has a checked box next to "You have submitted Form I-693... However, you failed to submit proper documentation of immunization..."

So do we need to redo the entire medical exam or just the vaccination and immunization sections?

We'd appreciate any help!

In the I-693 form that you've submitted..what is in there? is it just medical or just vaccination?

We didn't submit an I-693 with the I-485 application... We thought the medical was covered in Tanzania. Looking more closely, I see my husband didn't get the varicella vacine, so I am not surprised we got the RFE. We already had a civil surgeon fill out the vaccination supplement but I am concerned they want him to redo the entire medical...

If his medical was done in tanzania within a year he don't have to..GOod luck :thumbs:

You need only to submit Part II, Item 5 of the I-693 which deals with vaccinations...

You need only to submit Part II, Item 5 of the I-693 which deals with vaccinations...

Yep, but also don't forget to fill out part I for identification and Part 5 to be signed by the Civil Surgeon. Anyways, the CS will fill this out and ask some copies for you :thumbs:

Thanks for the replies. I just don't understand why they would include a separate page that requests a completed I-693. If for some reason they are not satisfied - will they send another RFE or rejct our application completely?

Well that's why we're hoping that whatever you will send ithis time is what they needed so that they wont send another RFE. ANd it seems like they need a completed I-693 form and your husband just had his medical this year so that is still good so he just need to have the vaccines requirement? And you said you guys already done that. Are you willing to pay for the entire medical and take the risk of doing the medical all over again (eventhough he just had his medical this year) so that you will have a peace of mind that you have done everything what they need? Thats up to you. Good luck and hoping everything will be ok..

We're just going to send in the vaccination supplement... We can't really afford another medical exam and any more delays. I really appreciate all your help - you could never get this information from the government!
