it has been a crazy journey...i hope i dont have to wait another 100 days for an approval!!!!

USCIS (Vermont Service Center) Journey

Mailed I-130 Packet on 05/27/08

Approved: 12/23/08

NVC Journey

NVC Case Number assigned 01/02/09

Case Completed 01/21/09

End of Visa Journey

New Delhi Embassy Interview 03/17/09

VISA APPROVED!!!!!

hopefully VSC will pick up the pace in the coming days and you won't have to wait that long...I am approach that dreaded 200 days mark and it hasn't been exactly fun.

This week especially has been most disappointing of all...very little activity. Let's hope on Friday we can find some click happy VSC officers approving those applications.

i dont see ur approval very far..

did u get a chance to visit that website i told u about:

not as good as vj but something else to look at...

thanks dude...I knew about that before but I don't see too many people posting over there so I stopped checking...couldn't spot the approval you were talking about in the other thread.

i am literally praying to god that I get an approval soon (and I am a staunch atheist!) ;-) I haven't been so desperate for 'anything' in my life...

same here...the only thought that keeps me going is a trip to india in february...thats when i can politically take off from work (although i have a 3 week vacation time waiting for me)...dying to see her...

it took 286 days for my approval

USCIS

2007-11-23 : I-130 Sent

2007-11-28 : I-130 Received

2008-01-28 : NOA1

2008-08-13 : Filed Transferred from VSC to CSC

2008-08-14, 21, 22, 25 and 9/4 : Touched

2008-09-04 : I-130 NOA2 (Approved) Your I-130 was approved in 286 days from your filing date.

2008-09-05: Touched again

2008-09-09: I-130 NOA2 (hardcopy received)

NVC

2008-09-09 : NVC Received and Case Number Assigned

2008-09-16 : DS-3032 and AOS bill generated

2008-09-17: DS-3032 sent (by USPS and email)

2008-09-20: IIN received in Mail

2008-09-20 : AOS bill invoiced (paid online)

2008-09-24 : AOS bill PAID and cover sheet printed & AOS package sent to NVC

2008-09-24 : DS-3032 Choice of Agent accepted

2008-09-24 : IV bill paid and accepted on the 25th

2008-09-26 : AOS package received by NVC

2008-10-01 : Called today and was told that the AOS entered into NVC system and processed without errors

2008-10-20 : DS-230 sent to NVC

2008-10-23 : DS-230 entered into NVC system

2008-10-27 : RFE sent had issues with the marriage certificate and PCC

2008-11-25 : case complete at NVC

Embassy:

2008-01-27 : Interview at Embassy - Approved :)
