Do they always take your AP document/ead card after the AOS interview?

Our interview was very long, he asked a lot of questions and looked at every photo. At the end we were told my husband should receive his 2 years green card if everything matches up. He also said if he needed anything else he would write us. Well it has been two days and as of yet nothing online..... He also did not take hie EAD card or advanced AP is this normal?

Hi we had our interview a week ago and they kept the AP but not the EAD... they never said it was approved but said it looked like we had everything they wanted, we also felt it was a very good interview alot of talking and friendliness and same as you nothing updated online... so the wait continues.

I had an interview 2 days ago at Detroit. She took all my AP and EAD card and said " congratulations " after the interview. I received the e-mail from CRIS in the evening " Card Production Ordered". - - I had a friend who interviewed at SF too. She didn't know the result on that day. It made her nervous 'cuz she doesn't have any insurance. They said they had to consult the supervisor first and would let her know. A few days later she got the same e-mail as mine.

Mine was at Detroit. the officer said she needed to ask the supervisor somethng but he wasn't around ( despite her disappearance for 15 mins. ) I had my 2 expired EAD cards and my I 94 and was told she would let know. The interview was an hour long after much time sitting in silence whilst she read my case file. Why do thay take the I 94 ? if they can't give you an answer. I'm going crazy here waiting to see something on line . I've waited 3 years for this.

i had my interview on thursday. she asked to see my EAD, but told me i could keep it. she actually made a joke and said, "don't sell it on ebay or anything like that!" LOL. she did take my i-94 after stamping and signing my passport, though.
