Hello all,

My wife and I are involved in the well so far one of the worst journey's I've ever had to take.

I'm the international applying for my greencard... She is already in the US and we've been seperated for nearly 19 months now. We've had a few visits but with work and the expense of it all it's been difficult to get more of them in.

We were married back in december 2006... originally planned to settle in Canada but after awhile decided due to a few factors that we were going to move to the US. So we filed our paperwork back in March of 2007. Approved at the USCIS as of April 2008. The NVC still hasn't found our paperwork apparently as we've been emailing them about status typically on a bi weekly basis. We have requested the USCIS to send our paperwork to the NVC 5 times now (my wife just once again did it today) and we'll see what will happen. I thought the State department was supposed to be faster than the USCIS but I guess not.

Hopefully everything will get done soon because I've been apart from her for way too long now.

WELCOME TO VJ!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
