Wow! that must have taken you quite some time... If you are interested, we could add this information to the vJ wiki, that way anybody can update it. Currently there is a page for September 2007 fillers, but we don't have to use the same page:

Package was received Sept 29 at 2:18 p.m. and signed for by V Bustamante. It's there.....now to get our NOA's

April 13, 2009 - Welcome to the USA letter rec'd. PRC to be rec'd within 3 weeks.

April 16, 2009 - 2 yr GC rec'd in mail.

March 2, 2011 - Mailed in I-751 to CSC

March 4, 2011 - I-751 delivered to CSC

March 4, 2011 - NOA issued

March 12, 2011 - NOA received

April 14, 2011 - BIO Appt 5/6/11

May 6, 2011 - BIO done in 10 minutes...no re-takes this time :)

June 27, 2011 - Email rec'd "Status - Approved"

July 1, 2011 - 10 yr GC arrived

my package finally arrived at about 2:48P.M on September 30,2008 in CHICAGO, IL 60680.

It was signed for by V BUSTAMANTE.

07/17/2008 - POE Washington D.C. as an F1 visa student (had an F1 since 2006)

08/22/2008 - married a very charming and gorgeous USC

09/02/2008 - mailed my AOS submission with EAD and AP (i-130, i-485, i-131, i-765 together to Chicago Lockbox)

09/04/2008 - AOS submission received and signed for by V. Bustamante

09/09/2008 - checks with fees for i-130 and i-485 cashed

09/12/2008 - NOA1 arrives in the mail (i-130, i-485, i-131, i-765 one each), notice dates 09/09/2008

09/13/2008 - Biometrics appointment letter arrives in the mail. Appointment scheduled for 10/01/2008

09/15/2008 - Walk in biometrics successful! Biometrics done.

09/25/2008 - i-130, i-131 and i-765 viewable online! i-485 not viewable - showing a Validation Error.

11/13/2008 - i-131 (the AP) touched online! i-485 still not viewable

11/13/2008 - i-765 EAD card production ordered - online notification! Yay!

11/15/2008 - i-131 AP comes in the mail! It was approved on 11/12, not updated online yet.

11/21/2008 - received an e-mail from CRIS that my EAD has been mailed.

11/22/2008 - receive EAD in the mail

12/12/2008 - received the letter scheduling the interview with USCIS

02/05/2009 - date of the interview, green card approved!!!

09/12/2008 - 2 NOA's received (I-130, I-485) - Dated 09/08/08

09/16/2008 - Received notice for biometrics appointment on 09/30/2008

09/20/2008 - Biometrics done - Walk in (Orlando) Took 10 minutes

09/22/2008 - I-485 viewable online (pending, of course)

09/30/2008 - Biometrics Appointment (2pm)

12/30/2008 - Received Interview Letter

02/25/2008 - Interview

03/06/2008 - Welcome Letter received (the website will clearly never send me updates!)

hey folks,

I had my biometrics yesterday, in and out in 10 minutes. My USCIS office is in Jacksonville FL. Just thought I'd mention that I applied for AOS and EAD with my married name so my appointment letter had my married name. Once small problem though is that my K1 visa and my passport is in my maiden name. I did not realize that I should have had my marriage licence with me as they need it to verify identity before taking your finger prints if you have no other picture id with your married name. Thankfully I had one marriage licence in the car and had to run out and get it. I also forgot my ssn, but that was no biggie.

Moral of the story, if you are applying for AOS or EAD with a married name and you are a K1 with no other state issued photo ID, Bring your marriage licence!!

Mar 12/08 - NVC forwarded Petition to Vancouver Consulate!

Apr 14/08 - Medical!!

May 13/08 - Interview date YAHOO!

GOT THE VISA!!!!! MAY 14, 2008

July 6/08 - Crossed the border - they let me in!!

July 12/08 - Wedding day - it was perfect!

July 23/08 - Back from Honeymoon in PR - now onto AOS?!?!?!

Sept 3/08 - AOS package in the mail - what a headache!

Sept 9/08 - 3 NOA's for AOS, EAD and AP

Sept 30/08 - Biometrics appointment for AOS and EAD

Nov 13/08 - Touch on AOS and EAD

Nov 17/08 - AP shows up in the mail

Nov 17/08 - EAD card production ordered

Jun 25/09 - Green Card Production ordered - Finally after 10 months!

June 30/09 - Received welcome letter!

July 10/09 - GREENCARD! - All done for a bit now!

May 20/11 - Sent in I-751 for removal of Conditions
