September AOS filers

I have some happy news today

I just got 2 emails from CRIS. One says that my EAD card production has been ordered. I'm so happy about that. That means I can contact my previous employer soon (where I worked before my 90 day EAD expired). They said they would rehire me. And if they don't, I'll have to go job hunting again. But at least SOMETHING is happening and I won't have to sit here and be bored much longer.

The other email said that my AP has been approved too. I don't have any travel plans, but it's good to know that that is on its way too. I have a very sick grandfather back in Holland and it's good to know that if anything happens, I can fly there.

So this is probably my little bit of excitement for today. For those of you who are still waiting, I hope you will get some positive news soon too.

Wow! congrats to you! We're hoping that we will also receive good news. By the way, i have a question. That email from CRIS, is that from the USCIS website or a different one. I read lots about it that they got email from CRIS. Where did u guys sign up? Just curious..Thanks!

Thanks! Yeah, I already signed up to that website. I thought, it's from other site, but anyway, thank you. I'm just hoping I'll receive EAD soon. Is it right to contact uscis hotline just to ask about the status coz my case was never touched since I got my biometrics. I hope my papers are moving...

They asked me about my sponson proof of citizenship... I sent it the first time with my I-865, but I received a RFE anyway (no idea why), so I sent my sponsor's-proof-of-citizenship back again...

I got my EAD approval today! (Day 77)!!! it say's "Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you"... Does somebody know how long does it take between approval and receiving it on the mail... I know it says 30 days, but I would bet is less than that...

im happy for you guys. ours is no touch since 10/08. this has me really concerned.

My case has not been touched either since the day after my biometrics appointment.

Moreover, my AP still does not even show up in their system...

But, it seems that quite a few people got their EAD and AP approved without any touch.

My friend got an AOS interview notice without any touch.

So, I think we are ok.

and then when u see it in the mailbox..

u rub your hands before u get it in the mailbox..
