 that's what im thinking too..

like after those days with no touches..

"something will magically appear in the mailbox"..

and while gettin it in the mailbox..

i will say.. "my precious".. (gollum's way of saying it)

 I can see me doing the same thing... and it's the hubby's EAD!

I actually love that he's home all the time. When I'm not at work we can spend time together (well.. not much alone time with 2 kids!) and I know as soon as he's working too, that time together will drop drastically. But.. goodness knows a 2nd income will help all of us, and the poor guy is going completely stir crazy!

Mine's totally going stir-crazy too! Too bad we can't get 'em all together for some group stress relief or something

i think group approval sounds awesome..:devil::devil::devil:

"i don't know much about love but i know that i love him.."

Has anyone ever tried to get a social security number after approval without getting the EAD card itself? I am going to try on Monday. The worst they can do is say no right ?

wow, things are starting to roll in. :) congrats everyone!

Personally, they can take as long as they want on the AOS (but not too long) as long as I get my EAD quickly. :D

Yes, this how we feel, too!

Also, isn't it kind of weird, not having any documentation (other than the NOA's) that you are here legally?? That is what is bugging me out. This Status Limbo.

Totally. We're flying for Thanksgiving and the airport we're departing from is a TSA/Border Patrol training site, so they can go a little crazy sometimes... we're taking ALL our documentation with just in case.... The limbo is kind of bizarre. I know he's here legally, but no one else does, really.

Exactly!

He used his visa as ID the other day for something... (his passport is mostly written in Arabic, so it's easier just to show the visa)... and the woman was like: This is expired...

It's nerve-wracking really... i make him carry copies of his NOA's around with him... that's how neurotic i am...

Congrats on the EAD though! With any luck, it will arrive in your mailbox before Thanksgiving.

Still not one single solitary touch ever. :clock:

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I don't know if it helps, but we never got a touch on the EAD... it didn't even show up online until it was approved. I think their system is really screwy. Don't give up hope!
