@mamada and @aomary: though i would prefer it to be good news, I feel a little bit better knowing that I'm not alone waiting for my biometrics letter. I'll try to set up an infopass appointment as early as possible.

edit: Ok, I'm currently looking at the options on the infopass site. I selected 'service on a case that has already been filed' then these 4 options came up:

Order from Immigration Court - If you were directed to us for processing based on an order from the Immigration Judge. You must bring all documents required in the post order instructions given to you by the court.

Case Processing Appointment - If you received a notice to go to your local office for further case processing.

EAD inquiry appointment - If your I-765 employment authorization application has been pending for more than 90 days.

Case Services follow-up appointment - If it has been over 45 days since you contacted NCSC and have not received a response to your inquiry. You must bring the Service Request ID Number related to your inquiry to the appointment.

Which one would be right for my case? (no biometrics letter after 6 weeks)

Hi mellowgeorge,

Did you make an infopass appointment? I did... my appointment is next Monday morning. I don't know if it would work, but anyway, I wanna do something. I'll let you know how it turn out.

 that's what im thinking too..

like after those days with no touches..

"something will magically appear in the mailbox"..

and while gettin it in the mailbox..

i will say.. "my precious".. (gollum's way of saying it)

 I can see me doing the same thing... and it's the hubby's EAD!

I actually love that he's home all the time. When I'm not at work we can spend time together (well.. not much alone time with 2 kids!) and I know as soon as he's working too, that time together will drop drastically. But.. goodness knows a 2nd income will help all of us, and the poor guy is going completely stir crazy!

Just got back from infopass with good and bad information.

First of all the people there were extremely nice.

Our EAD had been approved on Nov 13 so I guess we will just wait for that to arrive>

Our cancelation for our appointment for AOS was because they prematurely made the appointment and after realizing their error canceled it.

SO not terrible news.

Now HURRY UP EAD !!!!!!!

I didn't go that page. On the next page after entering zip code, I selected "You need information or other services", not "You need Service on a case that has already been filed", because those four choices don't match my needs. You don't have to select any when you go "You need information or other services". Good luck!
