Sent AOS/EAD/AP for K-1 on Sept 16 via UPS to Chicago. Arrived Sept 18. Check cashed Sept 22. NOA1's arrived Sept 25th in the mail with the Sept 22 date.

My check had one MSC number on the back and each NOA had a different MSC number, but they were all in a small group. If you get the check first you can probably find the online stuff by searching the numbers around the number on the back of the check.

Dec 26, 2007 -- K1 Visa approved.

------

Sep 16, 2008 -- AOS/EAD/AP sent to Chicago

Apr 01, 2009 -- Conditional green card arrives.

------

Feb 19, 2011 -- Mailed I-751 Packet to lift conditions

Nov 11, 2011 -- Permanent GC rev'd in mail.

------

It appears that the NOA's are arriving very fast.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

once you get your NOA reciept for the AOS it will have a different number than your k-1 if thats what you mean.

Yes, that is what I meant. Thank you so much for answering my question. :)

Jamie.....nice to see we both are filing at the same time. :D

Nagishkaw, nice to see you. Hope all is well with you. :)

It is and hopefully things are going well with you, too. Who knew we would be sending out our AOS on the same day?? :star:

I also sent my AOS package today  .

I was also curious why they haven't updated the I-485 form yet. I don't think that they'll request a RFE...Actuallly if you look at the USCIS website, for immigration forms it shows that the current edition of the I-485 is 5/27/08 *and* that previous editions accepted.

Hey! Happy to see that the last september filers have joined us!!

I probably shouldn't worry, but I cannot help. I sent AOS application on september 5th, received the NOAs on the 16th, so so far, everything is ok. But I have seen that many people who sent their package at the same time than me already have received the biometrics letter for the appointment. I check my mail box everyday, but nothing... Do you think something is wrong or I just make this up?

Thanks!

Faustine
