Congratulations on your AP!!!

I got my RFE letter today, they are asking me for the same thing we sent for the 1st RFE... I don't get it, they are also asking for the 2007 tax documentation we already sent when we filed for AOS...

I will have to call early Monday to see what is going on :(

I have some great news!

I went to check my mail today - and found a letter from USCIS.

:wow:

It was the AP documents!!!

:dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance:

I couldn't believe it!

My online case status shows an approval for EAD on 11/13 and a touch on AP for 11/13,

but it turns out that the AP was approved and issued on 11/12

and mailed on 11/13.

So I actually have it in my hand today

although it still shows up as pending online!

:)

I am so happy and I wish that every one of you get your documents

soon as well!

I just had to let a tear out when I got my documents,

I know I can go home for Christmas and my husband is going to go with me most likely!

Which is so great because he hasn't gotten to meet my mom yet,

nor my siblings.

Yay!!!!

Also, I am so glad that I have VJers to help me with this process,

I think I would be half crazy by now

I was looking at discussions posted by earlier AOS applicants.

It seems that a few people who received their biometrics appointment letter later got their EAD and AP approved

right after their biometrics.

I really hope this is also your case.

But, it may be a good idea to make an infopass appointment and see what they say.

hi,

base on the stat here for sept filers, you are supposed to receive already your notice for your bio appointments..if you can try to call uscis or better if you make an infopass so you can really check whats going on...

it doesnt hurt to make a follow up plus what you are going to do is just right and appropriate...to give you peace of mind and at the same time for you to really find out what happend...maybe uscis already mailed it but it didnt come to ur place and they assume otherwise...so better do something...

Your timelines are very similar to mine. They got my AOS on Oct. 2, and I haven't recieved biometrics appointment letter yet. What happned on Oct. 2? I was going to wait for at least 2 month, but this is starting to worry me. I wonder if I should do something..

10/02/08 - Package delivered

10/06/08 - NOA 1 for I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131 (received Oct 11)

Your timelines are very similar to mine. They got my AOS on Oct. 2, and I haven't recieved biometrics appointment letter yet. What happned on Oct. 2? I was going to wait for at least 2 month, but this is starting to worry me. I wonder if I should do something..

---yeah i am wondering too... when my case was transferred to CSC last oct 28, i called USCIS twice to ask why i dont receive my biometrics yet, then the guy sounds mean coz i said why others got their letter few days after NOA and he said its case to case basis, and i tried to ask if they can see in their system when is my biometrics (trying to check if they sent out letter for me) he said he cannot check (#######! they cant check from their database!!) then he said just to wait but i got a notice already of transfer but why i dont have biometrics yet?????? goodness!!!!

I got a touch on my AOS and EAD on Nov 13. My AP still won't come up on the USCIS website.

THEN....

just went out at lunch to check the mail and got my AP documents today, Nov 17.

What a wacky system, hope my EAD is not far behind. I'm hoping the touch was that I got transferred to CSC or something but I'm not sure.
