Ok, now it's my turn to be silly... (I hope! lol)

I've noticed a lot of people who were transferred to CSC say that their current status says Pending. Our says:

Receipt Number: MSCXXXXXXXXXX

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Case Transfered to Another Office for Processing

Last touch was 10/02/08

Is it just a given that the case is being processed (when it's our turn) or will they update again sometime in the future that it's pending?

Another quick question for people who are at CSC and have had a RFE. Was that before or after the transfer?

This process is going to drive me completely insane before it's over. The waiting is much easier with him beside me, but still... hehe

Hi, can you please add my case to the September fillers table? I sent py AOS package on September 19, it was received on September 21 and the notice date is September 25. I had my fingerprints done on October 17 and my I765, I131, I130 and I485 show up as being currently at the National Benefits Center. I had no RFE but have not received any information or decision on my case yet.

I got a RFE before my case was transferred to the CSC. Actually, case was transferred a week or so after they received our answer to the RFE. We got a touch on Nov 3rd. Nothing on the EAD since Oct, 17th.

I am getting nervous.... I know is too soon, but...

We got the letter for RFE and we sent all the paperwork last friday and it got there on Sunday.... Is Wednesday and I have been checking my status online all the time, No News... No Updates... Is this usually like this???

I got a RFE before my case was transferred to the CSC. Actually, case was transferred a week or so after they received our answer to the RFE. We got a touch on Nov 3rd. Nothing on the EAD since Oct, 17th.

Same here. I got the RFE before my case transferred too. They received our answer to the RFE on Oct 24th and transferred my case to the CSC yesterday.

Unfortunately, that's kind of how this seems to go. We got an RFE October 9, sent it back the next day, then our case was finally touched on the 17th, but there's been nothing since then and it's been almost a month.

No news is usually good news, tho - means no more RFEs

hello everyone,

just wanna share my experience this morning (11/05) with my Bio appointment...

my sked s 10am we got there 9.30am and they acomodate us right away even if its not time yet..my hubby presented my appontment letter and the receptionist just asked for my id, i gave my passport and he didnt asked for my marriage certificate..then he let me sign that paper..

then i had my finger scanning and picture taking...it was really very fast and they were nice.

though they didnt asked for my mariage certificate i still brought it and the rest of the NOAs just in case...

so it really differ from one ASC to another, some are strict some are not...but for all of us its really better to be prepared and have everything...

I'm with you on this one Envy_me, its the only language spoken on mine since after biometrics, i wish they ll write something else or just touch the darn thing, even a tease to let me know they've glanced at it at all....!

Today again...i've started stalking both Uscis and my mail man, i now know when mail comes in daily.

Nothing yet here. I called UselessSCISucks yesterday evening to check on the expedited EAD and was told a letter was mailed out to us yesterday....probably to inform us that they received the expedite. Good God, hurry the freak up!

I have a question. Did you get ure paperwork done through a lawyer or did you compile it yourself. Just curious as in why certain applications are being touched without any particular order as in visa status or what not. I'm trying to look for some kind of pattern here. It seems like USCIS just picks random applications and works on them.

My next questions goes towards everyone here.

Does having an infopass appointment expedite the EAD process ? Do I have to wait 90 days after biometrics or 90 days after receiving NOA's to get the infopass apptment for EAD card if I haven't received it by that time ?
