Got an RFE today for Nick's income tax...I sent all of that in....

w t f.....

Hey Laura,

What was the RFE about. Was it missing info...?

Yeah...stupid me...I thought I sent in a copy of Nick's 1040 tax document but instead I photocopied just the summary of that sheet....not the actual 1040.

I photocopied it and put it in the mail today.

:)

Smooth sailing here as well.. B)

We also came early, about 11:40, we were out by 12:00 (our scheduled appointment time!)

Hey I have a question, about the form they ask you to fill when you get there... did you only write the receipt # for the I-485 or also for the other forms filed?

for i-485 and i-765..

cos that's what at the bio letter..

Yeah, the thing is my case is a little bit different since I'm doing concurrent AOS... I put the # for my I-130 and I-485, but then I noticed that when the security guard reviewed my form she crossed the I-130 in the last question about benefits you are applying for (I had circled I-130 and I-485)... Well I hope they'll figure it out, I'm sure not the first one...

I got a touch today B)

I'm feeling soooo cool.. They received my answer for the RFE and now are moving forward to processing my case, which, by their own time line can take 3 months...

Well, what is 3 months, anyway?

Same here :)

I'm so happy my case processing is resumed. Now the wait continues... ^_^

I'm telling you, sometimes I think that USCIS issues out RFE's just to bother us to see how fast we respond....ridiculous,

Or maybe they issue RFE's when they don't have enough information to process the application :):innocent:

Bah! NOA arrived today saying the FBI couldn't process the fingerprints. New bio-redo scheduled for Nov 4.

Yes it's such a disappointment that they can't do their jobs properly!! I just received the same letter saying the same thing. I'm so disappointed it's been rescheduled for Nov 06 but what worries me is that on the NOA it only has the barcode for the I-485 when the first NOA for my biometrics had the I-485 and EAD. Does that mean that they approved to process my EAD? I just hope it doesn't delay the process any later.

It takes a second to say I LOVE YOU but a lifetime to SHOW IT!

The EAD only needs the thumb print. So that was probably good. They need the 10 fingerprints for the AOS. That one will have to be redone.

Dec 26, 2007 -- K1 Visa approved.

------

Apr 01, 2009 -- Conditional green card arrives.

Hi~ I got a silly question... :innocent: What does it mean when you guys say you got a 'touch' on your I-485, I-765, etc? I've read this expression sooo many times but still couldn't figure out what exactly it means.

Thanks in advance.
