i've decided that i'm going to try not to look at the USCIS case status online until mid-November... i don't know why i'm checking it every day... ??!

i used to check mine everyday too..

i realized im just makin myself frustrated..

and now i check it once a week or every other 2 weeks..

I'm on OPT right now and hoping that the EAD gets here before the old one expires.

Yeah, it only took about 2 months for my OPT one too, just hope that it's gonna be similar situations.

As far as the A# goes, mine changed too. i read somewhere on this site that it's normal for A#'s to change so I wouldn't worry about it.

I have my biometrics tomorrow, kinda excited about that. Anyways, have a great weekend everyone

Received another NOA today for my biometrics for my EAD. It, of course, is for another date from my AOS biometrics which is Tuesday, October 28.

If I take both notices with me, do you think they will do the 2nd one that is dated for November 8?

I check almost every day too It's hard not to. I'm on the computer all the time at work, and I work Wed-Sat, so I'm always very anxious to check on Wednesday to see if anything's changed. Of course it seems like it never changes And it's ahrd to resist the temptation to check on the weekends, even when you know nothing will have happened...Ugh.

My husband had his Biometrics Thursday. We were 2 hours early and they took him right away. It was not busy there at all, this being around noon. The initial appt was at 2 pm. It went very fast, and he was in and out in about 20 minutes.

We also made an Infopass for an emergency AP, but was told to come back around the last week of November as he wanted the emergency AP for the first week of December and the officer told us that it is too soon to apply. 0i !

Still no touches. I wonder what's up with that? We have no idea what's going on with our case.

process was smooth..

we're done after less than 15 mins..

we came early but im the second..

but after my biometrics i saw like 5 people filling out their forms..

good thing we came early..

i wish everything will be smooth for all of us..

We also came early, about 11:40, we were out by 12:00 (our scheduled appointment time!)

Hey I have a question, about the form they ask you to fill when you get there... did you only write the receipt # for the I-485 or also for the other forms filed?

for i-485 and i-765..

cos that's what at the bio letter..

Well our RFE said that the co-sponsor had to be a US citizen or resident (in other words they needed proof of her citizenship) so I sent them everything: copy of her passport, copy of her Birth certificate and a copy of her divorce papers (her passport still has her married name on it) ....i also resent them her tax papers and the full application again signed and dated. As of yesterday (Fri. Oct 24) the documents were recieved at MO, so now we're just waiting for them to update our case and hopefully transfer it......I'm telling you, sometimes I think that USCIS issues out RFE's just to bother us to see how fast we respond....ridiculous, at least hubby's biometrics went super smooth, he got there 15 minutes early and they took care of him right away, got out in 5 min B)

ha! this is me... i know how you feel!

i feel like i need to go on a USCIS diet... no checking the website until November, and if i get a surprise in the mail... well, then, woo-hoo!
