I would not worry just yet. My case got touched 3 times so far, since case processing resumed (after I submitted the additional evidence for RFE)... So, perhaps other folks - whose cases were touched multiple times, would you please share what happened after these touches? :wacko: :wacko:

It's true... i remember from the K1 process, that touches are very arbitrary...

The most important thing for us right now is the EAD, so whatever happens, we're mostly just hoping that clears sooner rather than later....

It's true... i remember from the K1 process, that touches are very arbitrary...

The most important thing for us right now is the EAD, so whatever happens, we're mostly just hoping that clears sooner rather than later....

Anyone know how to go about getting temporary EAD? They are required by law to issue one in 90 days (do we count from the day we filed or from the day they recieved...humm).

08-30-2008 AOS Required doc sent to laywer via USPS /c Certified Mail

09-04-2008 Lawyer sent application to DHS (Woo!)

09-15-2008 Biometric appointment scheduled on 10/06/2008

10-06-2008 Biometric done!

11-07-2008 NOA for interview. AOS interview set Dec 9 2008

11-17-2008 EAD production ordered. Travel Doc approved

11-22-2008 Got APin mail

11-24-2008 EAD in mail!

11-24-2008 AOS interview prep and verification of evidence of shared life with my lawyer. Laywer gave me "the most documented marriadge of year award"

12-09-2008 AOS interview @ USCIS Seattle Office. IO thought I had way too much evidence for the time I've been married. Oh Dear.

Well, I just came back from the post office. I resent the W2, 1040 and 1099 documents and an additional 42 pages of turbo tax supporting documents they can read through ;) . I hope that will be enough and we won't get another RFE. Hopefully my case will be resumed soon. I sent the package by express mail so they should have it in 2 days at the latest. This means the delay should be minimal. So now the wait starts again... :mellow:
