Hello,

I haven't been in Vj for a while but I just wanted to update my information here, I got my AP and EAD a couple of months ago and we also got our Interview App for May 12th here in Las Vegas... We have almost everything ready and we hope everything goes perfect and we get approved!

Our process was slower than usually cause we got 2 RFE and once the case FINALLY got resumed it took like 2 months to get my AP and EAD...

Well we will keep waiting for our interview day and we will let you know how it goes.

Hello September Filers! Its been a while I havent been on VJ.

I see that almost everybody got their GC! Congratulation! :thumbs:

On my side, things are going very slowly, still no interview planned for the GC or touches since they got my application. Its weird because I didnt get any RFE or anything to make this process slowlier than the other... Does anyone know if there s something to do to speed the process? infopass maybe?

Anyway, I went back to France recently, and I had the privilege to try my AP ; )

It went ok, beside that the lady at customs was very suspicious about why I came back to France and if I was really still married... She also told me that AP normally has 3 papers, and didnt understand why I had only two... Well USCIS gave us only two, right? Did anybody get three?

I would suggest Infopass or even get the help of your congressperson or Senator. Hope you get some good news soon! Let us know.

Thank you for your quick answer nagishkaw! :) Yes maybe you are right, maybe she was testing me or something...Do you know if I can use the AP again, now that I have only one paper left? Apparently its possible since your husband is going back to Egypt again...

Yes I ll try infopass and senator I think... But I m going to wait a bit because it says on uscis website that they are working on September files in Denver... So if in 2 or three weeks, when they will update to October files, I dont hear from them, I will call!

:crying: My husband and I just got back from a three week trip and I was anxious to check the mailbox when we got home and STILL no stinkin green card. Who else is still waiting that has their file at CSC? This is nutz, they are processing october filers like there is no tomorrow and I've never had one RFE not even a touch since being transferred. This is driving me CRAZY. USCIS sent me a letter saying that it is still in standard processing after I called to inquire. I need my green card to unlock an RRSP in Canada for a down payment among other things, not to mention the little one will be born in a few months, it would make things so much easier if it would come soon. :(

Jul 15/07 Engaged!

Oct ??/07 - Lawyer sent in I-129F

Nov 6/07 - NOA 1 Date

Jan 18/07 - Waiting anxiously

Feb 17/08 - A touch!

Feb 29/08 - NOA 2 - Approved!

Mar 02/08 - Touched

Mar 03/08 - Touched

Mar 10/08 - Petition arrived at NVC

Mar 12/08 - NVC forwarded Petition to Vancouver Consulate!

Mar 28/08 - Received packet 3

Apr 7/08 - Sent Packet 3

Apr 14/08 - Medical!!

May 13/08 - Interview date YAHOO!

GOT THE VISA!!!!! MAY 14, 2008

July 6/08 - Crossed the border - they let me in!!

July 12/08 - Wedding day - it was perfect!

July 23/08 - Back from Honeymoon in PR - now onto AOS?!?!?!

Sept 3/08 - AOS package in the mail - what a headache!

Sept 9/08 - 3 NOA's for AOS, EAD and AP

Sept 30/08 - Biometrics appointment for AOS and EAD

Nov 13/08 - Touch on AOS and EAD

Nov 17/08 - AP shows up in the mail

Nov 17/08 - EAD card production ordered

Jun 25/09 - Green Card Production ordered - Finally after 10 months!

June 30/09 - Received welcome letter!

July 10/09 - GREENCARD! - All done for a bit now!

May 20/11 - Sent in I-751 for removal of Conditions

What does USCIS website says about the processing time in your area? or in California more likely...Once the processing time is over you should call again...it should be soon...

I didn t know you were pregnant! congratulation! when is the due date?

I would suggest Infopass or even get the help of your congressperson or Senator. Hope you get some good news soon! Let us know.

Yes, L&D, you can use it again. But once you get your GC, the AP and EAD become null and void.

I hope you can get some answers soon concerning your case. This is just terrible how they jack us around !

Same here......

Just a quick question...At our interview, the IO kept our I-797C Request for Applicant to appear for initial Interview letter( I-485 ). Is this normal? We made copies of it before the interview, but they kept the original and never gave it back to us. Will we need that document later on?

Hi all,

Just a quick update. My husband received his GC in the mail on Saturday (5/2/09). :dance: Given our track record with USCIS, we couldn't believe that it arrived so soon after getting the approval e-mail. But we're definitely not complaining!

envy_me, would you be able to update the list?

Our thoughts and prayers are with all those who are still in Limbo!! Have faith - yours will be here soon!!
