Hi everyone,

updates: Had to contact USCIS couple of times since the card never was ordered though the case was approved on Feb 6th 09. after persistent trying and the 30 day mark was able to get an expediated request for card and received it on March 16th.

so atleast got the card for now. wifey already has made her first trip.

My green card arrived last Monday!!!! March 23 and I was just interviewed March 11... That was quick... and I'm not complaining... The effective date is on March 12, 2009....

Congratulations to all new Green card holder's and I would like to thank all the September filers who shared all their information here in this forum. This helped a lot in one way or another..

And I would also appreciate ENVY_ME in putting up the chart.. I wish we'll be able to see meet here again for the renewal.

For those who didn't .. don't give up hope and just be patient. It will definitely be rewarded.

Hi everyone,

I also just want to thank envy for the great updating and maintaining this September list

My wife just had her interview on Mars 24th at Buffalo. The interview lasted 5 min and was very smooth. We took the oath, and the officer asked for my passport as proof of citizenship, then went through the I-485 verifying the personnel info and the questionnaires. He didn’t ask me any question; all the answers were directed to my wife. Then took the I-94 paper from her passport and stamp it with the I-551 permanent residency valid for one year.

I was carrying a load of documents and proofs, he didn’t ask for anything beside the passports.

My case status didn't change, it still stating "case receive and pending" smile.gif so don't rely much on that system.

We spent the rest of the day at the Niagara Falls Canadian side (yes it was ok to get there with the I-551 stamp).

Just wanted to update everyone that I received my permanent resident card in the mail today. The date on the card says that I was approved on 3/13. Thanks for all the helpful tips and the never-ending support through this whole process. :) Since we've been married for more than 2 years, I received a 10 yr card so my next step would be citizenship in 3 years. :)

Congratulations to everyone who recently got their GC in hand and to those with recent interview approvals ! 0urs is coming up in two weeks . Yes, we are skird.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Hello everyone! congratulations to all the approvals.

I've not heard anything. Our case was last touched 1/13 and so far not a word. Should I do something?

Intimacy, like charity, begins at home. If we cannot be intimate with ourselves, we have no way to bring to intimacy with another person.

Intimacy with ourselves takes time. We need time for rest, time for walks, time for quiet, and time to tune into to ourselves. We cannot completely fill up our lives with activities and become intimate with ourselves. Nor can we just sit quietly indefinitely and become intimate with ourselves. We have to have the time and energy to be our lives and to do our live in order to establish and intimate relationship with ourselves.

Surprisingly, as we become intimate with ourselves, we discover our connection with others

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
