HUBBY'S GREEN CARD ARRIVED YESTERDAY!!!!!!

Nothing had changed on our online status, but it just magically showed up in the mailbox anyway!!!!

Got the NOA saying the I-485 Permanent Residence was approved on 3/17/09! Never got an email from CRIS though and our online status never changed, just like you Maeve (still says pending!). Hopefully we will get the card in the mail soon!

Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to drop by and see how everyone is doing. Looks like the chart is filling up................Now that we can look back, you can see they get to every file and as you can see the chart is getting filled in. I am sure the new bunch of filers are stressing out as well when they get a RFE or their AP hasn't come yet but at the end of the tunnel they will get to every file and approve them all.

I am so happy to be part of the september filers and I hope we can all meet here again in about year and a half for removing conditions. Its good to see everyone getting their GC,

April 13, 2009 - Welcome to the USA letter rec'd. PRC to be rec'd within 3 weeks.

April 16, 2009 - 2 yr GC rec'd in mail.

March 2, 2011 - Mailed in I-751 to CSC

March 4, 2011 - I-751 delivered to CSC

March 4, 2011 - NOA issued

March 12, 2011 - NOA received

April 14, 2011 - BIO Appt 5/6/11

May 6, 2011 - BIO done in 10 minutes...no re-takes this time :)

June 27, 2011 - Email rec'd "Status - Approved"

July 1, 2011 - 10 yr GC arrived

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

just curious, what happened with the first one?

we sent in our medical rfe almost two weeks ago, and still no touch! its driving me crazy.

hopefully we will both get processed asap.

BabyBlueSusie - They had the original one.

On the original one, Dr. Seiden noted that I was taking Effexor and Nexium which is a Class B condition. Not at my interview or at the borer crossing was anything mentioned to me about thins condition. CSC sent a RFE at th end of Feb saying I had a Class B condition. They didn't send any other information with it so I returned a copy of the RFE with a letter requesting further info.

Last Tuesday I received another RFE with the Class B condition explained. In order to get a CS to lift that condition, I had to have another medical done. So on Thursday I went to Dr. L.M. d'Avis' office where I had blood drawn for HIV and another test as well as having a skin TB test done. I returned Saturday morning for the results, chicken pox vaccination and to see the dr. He came in and asked me a few questions, checked my eyes, throat, lungs and heart and then said my papers would be ready in a few minutes. All this for the bargain price of $290.

I didn't get it in the mail today but tomorrow for sure. I can't wait for this to be done with for a while.

Good afternoon fellow september filers :star:

My husband and I had our interview today, and we are APPROVED :dancing:(F):energy::jest::dance:

The interview went well, he asked a few questions, and we gave him papers to prove our relationship.

He said I should be getting my GC within 6 weeks. ( From others here it seems they get it faster?)

WOW YEAH!!! I am so relived and happy to be done with USCIS for almost 2 years!

To everybody still waiting, I will keep my fingers crossed :thumbs:
