September AOS filers

Hi Everyone,

I have been reading a lot of threads and posts on the transfer to CSC and for all i have seen the cases were transferred after their biometrics...

My biometric appointment is still 5days away, so why are they transferring me so soon?

I have checked even previous years post and they all were transferred a day after biometrics or more, none before the biometric appointment. I wonder why....

Also it seems its a good thing being transferred to CSC as all cases i read didnt have to go for interviews.

That's gonna be one big sigh of relief for me!! pheeew!!

We were transferred before our biometrics appointment, so I don't think it's uncommon. Also, going to the CSC doesn't guarantee that there is no interview in store for you, but in many cases it is.

Nothing in the mail today... No biometrics appointment letter, no proof of transfer to California or local office either. I applied on september 5th though.... Why is it taking soooooo long??? :crying: :crying:

I got an RFE today too

Says they recieved my I-864, but it "was not from the petitioner/sponsor." #######??? It said it on there twice, too, which is weird...so I'm submitting two copies. Also submitting two copies of tax returns and W2s. Can't hurt, I suppose.

Called USCIS, but they said they don't have access to that info, so they couldn't tell me the specifics. On the plus side, however, the guy said that it I'd needed a co-sponsor or something, it would've been on the form. Hubby suggested I'd mistakenly had him sign it or something...

I think those idiots at the NBC lost the damn thing...I swear I did it right...

received all three NOAs in the mail today, Oct. 9. They were for the petition, the AOS, and the EAD applications.

On the AOS form, I was assigned a new A# number. Is this common? I've been in the US for 5 years as an F-1 student.

PS. I'm trying to track my case online but it says that the case doesn't exist. Am I doing it too early?

I hope my case joins that of the many who were transferred without interview.

Hi everyone,

a quick update on our case. basically my wife finished her code2 biometrics for the 0765 and the code3 biometrics for the aos a couple days ago. now the waiting game begins. we had a problem in getting our noa for the i-765 because somehow someone encoded the house number wrong. miraculously, the bio appt arrived and they mailed the noa for the i-765 to our alternate address and got it yesterday, which was already useless anyway. still trying to have them change the address. somehow the burden shifted to us to do all the work to correct it even though i checked on the copy of the form and put in the address correctly. oh well.

09/30/08- touched (probably to determine alternate add on file)

10/07/08- i-485 Biometrics Appt code 3(done)

10/08/08- i-765 Biometrics Appt code 2(done)

10/06/08- i-130 touched

10/08/08-i-485 touched

Getting worried...

We sent in the AP paperwork after all the rest of the stuff - about a week or two late, but also to the Chicago lockbox. Still haven't recieved an NOA yet...Anyone else do this?

Wondering if it got lost in the mail, or if we sent it to the wrong place?? Reeeaaaally need that AP!! I've got holiday time to use and want to go see hubby's family in Canada!!

If the receipt number of your NOA starts with MSC, then yes it is in Missouri.
