September AOS filers

They took my EAD because they said that the I551 stamp is the green card so I don't need it anymore.

I hope by end of march we can see all blue on envy's chart.........

I had a question for those that went to their interview, did they take your EAD and AP papers and how long after the interview did you guys get the green card in the mail?

We did not get the stamp in the passport and they did not take our EAD and AP papers, just

asked to see them.

Were were approved at the interview on Jan 26th but still don't have the greencard yet.

Maybe we will for Valentines Day!!

I agree. The interview is pretty easy if you don't have anything to hide.

Good luck to everyone with interviews this week. Don't worry, be yourself and you have nothing to worry about. Take all the documents relevant to your marriage even if you think they won't want to see them. Its always safe than sorry. We took 3 big binders and we didn't need any of them so just take all your documents and wait for the green card.

My experience was pretty similar. I had brought along enough documentation to fill a small library. Originals, duplicates, triplicates! In the end they only looked at my passport, EAD and some wedding pictures (which were just inkjet proofs we gave to my inlaws to see because somehow I forgot to bring our wedding album). But having more documentation is much better than not having enough!

Nagish its so frustrating. I cant wait anymore, iv been gone for months now without properly sorting things out back home.

I also miss my friends and family, but sincerely would have been more comfortable knowing the green card is done, as i dont want suprises!

He answers its just that as humans we want urgent....expedited answers and at times he teaches us a lesson in patience.
