Envy_me: you can finally update my EAD... I received the card on the 29th! :dance:

I bet it felt really good to finally hold the card in your hand ;)

I got my second "card production ordered" email for my EAD on thursday, so my card should be in my hand soon :star:

09.26.08 NOA Biometric appointment

10.03.08 RFE

10.21.08 RFE received, case processing resumed

Thanks for your recent congratulations. It was a surprise to me how I had gotted my interview in such a short time I filed in August, USCIS got it in September and I got my interview letter in November). I feel like a million bucks because I know there are some people out there who haven't even recieved their first NOA yet, but guys let me encourage you to hang in there. The people at USCIS are doing the best they can and it's a lot of files for a lot of people. Don't feel disheartened, things are going to work out just great.

09/19/2008 - Forms delivered to NBC

09/23/2008 - NOAs

10/18/2008 - Biometrics in San Antonio

12/02/2008 - EAD Case Status touch, CRIS e-mail: "Card Production Ordered on December 2"

12/08/2008 - EAD Case Status touch, CRIS e-mail: "Card Production Ordered on December 5"

12/09/2008 - EAD Case Status touch, CRIS e-mail: "Approval Notice Sent: On December 9th, we mailed you a notice that we have approved I-765"

12/10/2008 - EAD Case Status touch

12/11/2008 - Receive EAD in the mail. The EAD is dated 12/02/2008, and the letter's postmark is dated 12/08/2008

01/09/2009 - Receive Interview Appointment Notice in the mail. Notice date is 1-2-09, and interview is scheduled for 2-26-09

02/26/2009 - AOS Interview. We are approved!!!! Eric gets stamp in his passport that will serve as conditional LPR status until card comes in mail

03/03/2009 - Receive 2 NOAs dated 2/26/09. (The I-130 approval and the I-485 "Welcome to the United States, Your PR Card will come in 3 weeks" approval)

03/10/2009 - Receive LPR card in the mail

11/29/2010 - File Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence (this is a Monday, 89 days before 2 years are up)

I have been away for a while, so CONGRATULATIONS to all the GC approvals!!

It's so good to see them posted! :thumbs:

I'm getting ready for my interview on Thursday and preparing my paperwork to bring with me.

Should I bring the copies of all of my paperwork filed?

I really don't want to forget to bring anything!

I really can't wait for this part to be over.

AOS timeline

07/17/2008 - POE Washington D.C. as an F1 visa student (had an F1 since 2006)

08/22/2008 - married a very charming and gorgeous USC

09/02/2008 - mailed my AOS submission with EAD and AP (i-130, i-485, i-131, i-765 together to Chicago Lockbox)

09/04/2008 - AOS submission received and signed for by V. Bustamante

09/09/2008 - checks with fees for i-130 and i-485 cashed

09/12/2008 - NOA1 arrives in the mail (i-130, i-485, i-131, i-765 one each), notice dates 09/09/2008

09/13/2008 - Biometrics appointment letter arrives in the mail. Appointment scheduled for 10/01/2008

09/15/2008 - Walk in biometrics successful! Biometrics done.

09/25/2008 - i-130, i-131 and i-765 viewable online! i-485 not viewable - showing a Validation Error.

11/13/2008 - i-131 (the AP) touched online! i-485 still not viewable

11/13/2008 - i-765 EAD card production ordered - online notification! Yay!

11/15/2008 - i-131 AP comes in the mail! It was approved on 11/12, not updated online yet.

11/21/2008 - received an e-mail from CRIS that my EAD has been mailed.

11/22/2008 - receive EAD in the mail

12/12/2008 - received the letter scheduling the interview with USCIS

02/05/2009 - date of the interview, green card approved!!!

HI all,

I have been away for a while, so CONGRATULATIONS to all the GC approvals!!

It's so good to see them posted! :thumbs:

I'm getting ready for my interview on Thursday and preparing my paperwork to bring with me.

Should I bring the copies of all of my paperwork filed?

I really don't want to forget to bring anything!

I really can't wait for this part to be over.

Yeah Tena bring everything you could possible think. Good luck to you! My interview will be on Wednesday! I am nervous and excited.

I will keep you guys updated.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
