I can`t believe it...

I just received a notice from USCIS

I-485 CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED!!!

It looks like I am going to get my conditional green card around the same time as my EAD!

Good news!!

I have a feeling those who got touched around the 12th are going to get some good news....

today started bad, I burned my husband journal ...with a canddle,, accidently of course ...

I also burned my fingers bringing that in the sink ...

my afternoon was depressing, I still can't find a job !

and guess what ? I just went to the mail, and I got my GREEN CARD today !!!

I think that was the best way to make me smile today !!!

I wish the same to all of you ..umm not the canddle and everything, just the GC !!!!!!

My AOS interview will be on Feb 4 and I just received a call today for a job interview on Feb 3, whew! Two interviews in a row. God bless us all!

I am so happy to see all the approvals coming in! Congratulations to everyone, especially those who had interviews, the worst part is over for now!

I am still waiting, had a touch on the 12th... but they didn't change my status it still reads "Case transferred to another office for processing". I hope it turns out okay. I am hopeful because of all the approvals, I've gone back to checking the uscis website daily lol.

also... I've embarked on my job search... I think I've applied to every applicable job and retail store in my vicinity. Its so hard to find a regular old job in a college town. oh well. Just like the aos process, I just have to sit back and wait now.

I got green card in mail on Monday. It looked very similar to ead. The adressor was from some strange name place in colorad. I almost threw it away because I thought it was just an another preapproved credit card offer or some scammy stuff. I opened it on a whim and it had green card in it. Geeez. I wish they would print that it is from uscis

First, Congratulations Lynn&Ahmed!

Second, no interview letter yet, nothing.

Third, my husband and I went to the Infopass Monday about the missing letter in his second middle name on the AP document. What a waste of time ! The lady told us that what probably happened was they ran out of room when printing his name because it is soooo long. She got a CO and asked him what should be done and he said nothing, that all the information on the AP is correct and that it would not cause a problem upon re entry. When we asked about looking into our case, such as where is our case, is it being worked on? Why haven't we got an interview letter yet, she said she could not tell us that information ( like it was top secret ) and basically blew us off. What a farce they are down in Detroit. I'm now as disgusted and disappointed as my husband.

These people are frustrating... i wonder when they ll do what they have to do and completely too.

The thing is, I called the misinformation line 3 times and was told by 3 different operators that we needed to fix that document and to make an Infopass. Then once, having confidence in these fools, we went to the Infopass and was told that the document did not need fixing. Sheesh! What a waste of time. The only thing i'm sceptical about is that these people contradict themselves, three people you spoke with insist that you go get it changed then at the infopass they say it dont matter, would the officers at the departure and point of entry think so too?

If they would thats good, but if not what happens? Some of these officers can be mean or try to prove they are working.

I just wish, hope they are right and everything goes smoothly.

I really dont fancy this immigration stuff, too many loopholes but what cam we do?

Hopefully his greencard comes in soon, so you ll both be at rest.

According to the CO at the Infopass, yes. I raised that question to him and he said the document will pass, but hey....in the end it is whatever God wills and obviously the Infopass thing was in His hands so I can't worry about it anymore. Same with the interview. I've been reading horror stories that interviews can take up to a year or more. You are right...what can we do but be at their mercy.

Well so far we have received 2 emails telling us the GC is ordered each one a week apart and the time the woman said at the interview it would take to get it has passed. Which I thought was too quick. She said we would have it in 3 to 7 days ha ha ha.

Oh well we just wait till it comes.
