September AOS filers

I went for my infopass today, talked to a real nice woman there. Very helpful and understanding.

She didnt understand much of the letter I got yesterday.

But she checked the case in her system, and it didnt say anything there about a second RFE.

She asked her supervisor to contact the MSC, where my case is.

And then she said to me - If you havent gotten the interview letter in 2 weeks, contact us again.

So now I will keep my fingers crossed that my interview letter will get here soon.

When it came to the EAD, she said they are backed up, which I am sure is true. But according to Envy_me `s list here (Which I know not everbody is on that) but seems most sept. filers got their EAD.

I hope they will look into my case now and

hopefully give me some good news soon.

No RFE and a possible interview in 2 weeks... sounds like long-awaited progress, and hopefully some confirmed good news. Good luck!!

malianqueen, I see you have your interview at the Detroit office. Congratulations!

My husband is getting very disgusted as he plans on returning home in March. He has convinced himself that there isn't going to be an interview. ( Obviously, lies that the devil has planted in my husband's head). We made an Infopass for Monday to correct the spelling on his AP and to inquire about what, if any progress is being made in terms of an interview, and now he tells me this morning he isn't going! Everyone please pray in agreement with me that God somehow, some way softens his heart and he comes to his senses about this and goes to the appointment. Thanks in advance to all who will pray. I fear this is our only hope.

Tell him, he has to go! If anything to know if he can travel. This process is miserable, but we've come so far to throw in the towel now...

AHZ, I did tell him! I begged and he was stubborn and said he's done 'discussing' the issue.

Does anyone have any advice for us? I'm not sure there is much we can do at this point, just keep our fingers crossed and hope that someday we will get that letter in the mail...

I'm sorry that everything's so complicated for you.

You should try to get an infopass at your local office as somebody already advice. It's a good start. And I'll advise you if you don't hear anything a week after the infopass to contact an ombudsman.
