Thanks a lot guys but then I wonder why I still can't access. Many times I tried and even double checked if I got the correct receipt and nothing. Is it possible that its not yet in the system? Another thing is, I forgot my password so I register a new account,you think it could probably be the reason why? Thank you for the help. Hope soon got an appointment for biometrics...

try again after biometrics, Mine didn't show up right away either. A lot of people have this issue and the most common advice I see is try again after the biometrics appointment, because they should update your case for that, and then it will be in the system.

If you're really worried about your case not showing up you can always call them to check on the status.

The asc code is for what kind of fingerprinting you need. I believe 3 is ten fingerprints, and photo

at least thats what they did to me and my code was 3, is the standard for everyone I think.

Code 1 - collect full set of fingerprints.

Code 2 - collect biometrics only (photo, pressed print, and signature). Code 2 is issued if the applicant's address or other information has changed (or was initially erroneously recorded) since the initial card was issued. Applicants assigned code 2 would not receive a sticker, but a new card instead.

Code 3 - collect both 1 and 2 above (full fingerprints and biometrics).

Code 4 - TPS specific. Apply sticker extending the applicant's EAD. Code 4 is only issued if no criminal issues have arisen as a result of an IBIS check and if the applicant's address and other personal identifying information has remained the same.

Nope, Ricardo got a code 2 for EAD and 3 for AOS, so does the code 3 mean the same thing for the AOS? or is that different? also, by the explanation given above, does that mean that he could get his EAD card approved right then and there?

Congrats for everbody's NOA

I am still waiting for my bio appointment, over a month after application... Nothing in the mail this morning, it is driving me nuts!

And has anyone head of this before: A friend told me this morning that a student visa holder, after getting married to USC and applying for the green card got his biometrics appointment the very morning of his AOS interview??!! So he pretty much didn't heard anything for 3 months, and then one day, he received both appointment for bio and interview... It was where I live, so I wonder if it could be the same for me.

The thing is that he has his appointments to an office that is not even referenced as a local office... We do live in Alaska, and the official local office is in Anchorage and that is very very far from Fairbanks where we are... So maybe they exceptionnally meet people in a federal buiding not to have to go so far away for just an appointment? Has anyone heard of local offices that are not on USCIS website??

That's odd that you guys (y'all? ) have to go to Cincy. Alf's bio appointment is in Louisville. I'm wondering if the Cincy office is a little closer to you?

Alf's appointment is Thursday! Yay! I wanted to go with him, but it looks like I'll be staying home with my daughter. Hopefully it will be quick anyway.

*raises hand* I wanna join the online gamer group! Alf and I met in TSO (The Sims Online), and fell in love playing Second Life. A bit different than CoV or WoW, but still online games!!
