I made a list of what to bring to the interview.

*My and my husband's driver's license

*My and my husband's passport

*My and my husband's birth certificate

*My birth certificate's translation and translator's certification

*I-94

*Visa (attached to the passport)

*Original Marriage Certificate

*Interview Letter from USCIS

*Any other letters received from USCIS including letters for K1 case

*EAD and AP if already received

*2007 Federal Tax Return

*2007 Federal Tax Transcript

*2007 W2 and/or any other tax related forms issued

*2008 Federal Tax Return (if filed on time)

*2008 W2 and/or any other tax related forms issued

*My husband's employment letter

*My employment letter (if I find a job on time)

*My husband's pay stubs from the most recent three months (Though it says two months on the letter, I will bring them for an extra month.)

*My pay stubs (if I find a job on time)

*Docs on the joint lease of the apartment

*Bank statements (joint: showing both of our names)

*Electric Bills (joint)

*Cell phone Bills (joint)

*Credit card letter & bills (joint)

*Auto insurance (joint)

*Health, Dental and Vision Insurance (I am a dependent.)

*Wedding photo album

*Other photos where two of us are photographed with our family members and friends

*Cards and letters sent to both of us at the current address

*Letters sent to each of us to the current address

*Letters from witness and parents verifying our marriage

Do you have any suggestions?

Nice list. Where did you get all these information? Have they mentioned it in IL? I think I will have trouble on pay stub thing as I've lost my job in December and still no luck. I hope they don't ask me to come for an interview till March.

We dont have the same insurance policy either. Our insurance policy is different too. She got the cheap one from school.

Hi September Filers...Great to see one of us has been approved! I called USCIS on Jan 8th and they informed me that my EAD was ordered to be printed that day and I should receive it within 30days so I am assuming that it has been approved. Such a relief but it's kinda pointless since we have our AOS interview on Feb 2nd. so knowing USCIS I'll probably receive my green card before I receive my EAD & AP haha no faith at all j/k.

kiwibecka...I hope you get your interview date soon so you can have an awesome holiday back home. Did you get your DL yet? really weird since I applied for my TX Driver Licence 3yrs ago while I was here on my holiday and they didn't give me a hard time. I didn't even have a social then nor do I now. lol hope everything goes well.

Just heard back from our Congressional representative. She says that although USCIS won't tell her, she suspects that the RFE that we've just been sent is for the the same documentation (I-864) that we sent in response to the first RFE back in September because they say that what they've just sent is a 'second request'. If that's true then they've lost our Affidavit of Support. We sent one to them back in late September and on the 16th October or thereabouts, our case status changed to 'response to request for evidence received, case processing has resumed'.

So did they receive it or not? I guess I'll have to wait and see what the letter says but another pointer that this might be the case is that while other people get case status updates about a 'request for additional evidence', my case status has changed to 'request for initial evidence' suggesting that a key document is missing when I know that all the required documents were sent.

This post seems a little incoherent. A true reflection of my mental state at this point!

We were finally able to make the Infopass for January 26th...it was the only opening they had for this month. I hope they can fix the name spelling on the AP and not have to wait forever for that to happen. This gives them a month and a half to correct it before my husband returns home.

The EAD came in the mail today!!

It came from the National Benifits Center. Guess this means that our AOS is probably stuck there too. Hopefully that doesn't take forever...

Do you have to mail a form? Cant you just fill it online? my husband and i moved to our new house and we only did change of address online and i filled the form, even for our p o box, we changed it online too didnt need to mail anything. I'm a little confused or is it something else you want to do?

I got a mail from uscis after i changed my mail to confirm it, even when i called and spoke with a customer representative, to confirm change i also got a mail for confirmation in three days.

regular envelope should be just fine, send them separately

Yes, we got touched once after our transfer to CSC... but i think it was for biometrics... (We got transfered b/f biometrics...)

No. So frustrating! We were transferred in late November and haven't heard ANYTHING since then. Getting rather impatient.
