Were still waiting....and what do you mean by "we were supposed to get his GC in december"? How do you figure that?

Hiiiii whats going onnn?? My hubby got his EAD and AP in November and we were supposed to get his GC in december! has anynoe got his GC yet?!??!?!?!!?

How come you are waiting for your GC? on your timeline it doesn't say that you had your AOS interview yet?! you should update your timeline if you had it.

I think the GC takes a month after the intervoew to come in the mail.

Our EAD has *finally* been approved!!!!

I had two e-mails when I got to work today - apparently the card was ordered on both the 3rd and the 7th :)

But who cares!! We're finally getting it!!!!

We are still waiting on ours after interim service request on dec. 17th and emailing ombudsman, still no updates for us. Happy that you got yours.

Still no updates for me. its been a week I emailed ombudsman and still no updates. This is so frustrating. I am so happy for those that got their approvals because no one should go through so much just to be able to work and pay taxes.

Thanks everyone :) I let out such a loud shreak when I got that e-mail that my co-worker had thought I'd totally lost it! lol

time - really hope you hear something soon! Keep bugging the Ombudsman and the call center...seems like the more you bug them, the more anxious they are to get your stuff out :) Hang in there :)

I really want our interview letter!!! Eric and I live with 4 other people, and I am always scared that one of them accidentally brought in the mail and put the letter in the trash. They are all on the lookout for it, though, but it still scares me. It's really annoying that there is no online way to check for your interview date. If you miss your interview, it's such a huge deal; it seems like they would let you know about your date by more than just one letter.

sorry for the complaining.....

Does anybody know if you call the USCIS number, can they tell you if you have an interview date set yet? Or if they can tell you if an interview apointment notice has been sent to you yet? Or maybe I could call the San Antonio office (our local office) in a few days and they would know if our interview was scheduled yet?

03/03/2009 - Receive 2 NOAs dated 2/26/09. (The I-130 approval and the I-485 "Welcome to the United States, Your PR Card will come in 3 weeks" approval)

03/10/2009 - Receive LPR card in the mail

11/29/2010 - File Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence (this is a Monday, 89 days before 2 years are up)

Our EAD has *finally* been approved!!!!

I had two e-mails when I got to work today - apparently the card was ordered on both the 3rd and the 7th :)

But who cares!! We're finally getting it!!!!

I am so happy for those that got their approvals because no one should go through so much just to be able to work and pay taxes.

Does anybody know if you call the USCIS number, can they tell you if you have an interview date set yet? Or if they can tell you if an interview apointment notice has been sent to you yet? Or maybe I could call the San Antonio office (our local office) in a few days and they would know if our interview was scheduled yet?

I think you can give it try! You'll see if they can help or not... ;)

No interview letter yet. We fired off that form for the OmBud this morning figuring it couldn't hurt things. In the end, it's all in God's hands anyway.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
