Im looking at envy_me's list......why isn't anyone who's case is at MSC/NBC getting interview dates?????

Hi Nagishkaw,

I believe it's just the people in pink who are getting interviews because their paperwork has been forwarded on to their local office (where the interview will be held). I may need to be corrected on this but I think Envy changes them to pink once they say that they have received their interview letter.

once they received the interview letter, their names will turn pink or purple..whatever color is that!

purple = case on local office.. cos interview will be held at their local office..

try to check at the old tables and you'll see the difference..

Also, you know what i was wondering...

if your case is transferred to CSC, i understand you might not have an interview...

but does that mean it takes longer to get your gc?

i think so..

i was looking at the timelines of the people who were transferred to CSC, no interviews, and got their GCs afterwards..

i think the average is 2-3 months from the date that your case was transferred..

that's the time GC or welcome letter arrives, or the approval at least..

so After Making a request for Interim EAD last Monday, I was promised to get the response within 5 days. I got an email today that my EAD is approved and card production ordered. NICE but no news about AP though.

I am telling you guys to make that request once you complete 90 days. It worked for me. Also send an email to Ombudsman office after 90 days. They will get it done from USCIS.

I was wondering, did you email ombudsman the same day as your service request? How long after you emailed ombudsman you received approval notice. Do you think they had to do something with the approval?

Question concerning the AP..... at the bottom is my husband's pic, and above that is a Robert Cowan's signature. Is this normal? One would think my husband's signature should be there. Also, and maybe because his name is so long, they left out the 'D' when spelling his second middle name. Should we be alarmed? First, first middle, and last name is spelled correctly.

As for the AP, that's perfectly normal to have that other signature there (and to have a blank box on the bottom right hand side) so don't worry about that. As for the name though, I'm not sure. Is the D the start of his name? Personally I'd say the fact that his name is long means that no one will even notice but maybe you should give our USCIS friends a call to make sure.

If that is what's happenig, I don't know what will happen to my AOS.. the status online was never changed sinced they got the additional documents fro the RFE . We just checked our mail there's nothing from UCSIS so far.. I just hope that they are still working on my case and the other Sept filers.... I noticed from Envy_me's list that some who submitted later than we did got their letters for interviews already.

Just wishing that I can get mine soon too!!!

I sent one today but i didn't have the representative's name or number so they emailed me back and asked for my receipt number and alien number so that shows they are hopefully looking into it. fingers crossed

Tomorrow is my last day at work. I am losing my job because of company's new cost-cutting strategy. After doing some research, I found that EAD will make me eligible for unemployment benefits. But I want to make sure that if I claim this should not go against me during my interview. My wife goes to school and we showed my full-time job's salary for I-824.

Any idea guys?

They need receipt number so they can check. Rep name doesnt matter.
