Just got today my interview letter....my interview is February 24th 2009....gotta need a lot of luck...

Well..... I got good news in the mail today.

My Biometrics appointment letter came...FINALLY. After almost 3 months since I sent the application, it's here. Mind you, it's only for the I-485 and not for the EAD but I'll bring it up on the appointment day itself.

I'm scheduled for January 6, 2009.

I'm happy that it arrived. I was almost at the point of believing that they lost my application. It just took sooo long that I'm not excited anymore, just relieved.

Now to bug them about my EAD which would be 90 days on Jan 2.

Am contemplating making an appointment as calling their phone tree is never any help...But I don't know if I should make an appointment for the Louisville office (which is in the sate) or the Cincinatti office (which is where we did our biometrics.) Ugh...

I always feel weird when I read the description for that visa. They make it sound like I have super powers or something... :alien:

I'm sending good vibes to everybody who's waiting for an EAD or AP or interview date. I was feeling left out of the EAD crowd, not having filed for one. Now that I've gotten my interview date, I can work full time other people's process (with my super powers of course) :dance:

i think when you make the infopass, they ask you to enter your zip code and then your nearest local field offices pop up... unless you are right smack in the middle of both?

Still waiting for the interview letter.....0ur 90 days are up Monday. Im not complaining, but would like an idea when the interview will be. My husband is going back home for awhile March 15th and we hoped this would be over with by then.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Well..... I got good news in the mail today.

My Biometrics appointment letter came...FINALLY. After almost 3 months since I sent the application, it's here. Mind you, it's only for the I-485 and not for the EAD but I'll bring it up on the appointment day itself.

I'm scheduled for January 6, 2009.

I'm happy that it arrived. I was almost at the point of believing that they lost my application. It just took sooo long that I'm not excited anymore, just relieved.

Now to bug them about my EAD which would be 90 days on Jan 2.

Us as well....still no updates, nothing :(

Am contemplating making an appointment as calling their phone tree is never any help...But I don't know if I should make an appointment for the Louisville office (which is in the sate) or the Cincinatti office (which is where we did our biometrics.) Ugh...

i'm sorry, Maeve... it stinks... :(

i think when you make the infopass, they ask you to enter your zip code and then your nearest local field offices pop up... unless you are right smack in the middle of both?

will let you know Monday if we have any luck.....

We are pretty much in the middle of both. I'll probably call the 800-number and bug them again on Monday :)

09/30/08 - mailed AOS, AP and EAD thru USPS

10/02/08 - received and signed by V. Bustamante

10/06/08 - check cashed out

10/07/08 - date of NOA

10/08/08 - last touch for AP and EAD

10/28/08 - AOS transferred to CSC

11/04/08 - touched on AOS

11/05/08 - touched again on AOS

11/06/08 - touched again on AOS ( no touch on AP and EAD)

12/08/08 - EAD approved according to USCIS officer (from infopass)

12/09/08 - touched on AP and EAD

12/10/08 - AP approved dated 12/09

12/15/08 - AP on mail

01/12/09 - went to infopass - found out my EAD has been approved since DEC 8,2008

01/21/09 - biometrics appoinment

01/21/09- Card production ordered for I-765 and a touched for I-485

01/22/09 - touched on I-485

01/23/09 - touched again on i-485

01/26/09- touched again on I-485 and i-765! WOW!

01/29/09 - i-765 approval notice sent.. and EAD card received in mail

02/24/09 - AOS APPROVED!! thanks God!

02/25/09 - AOS touched again

02/27/09 - GC and welcome letter received in the mail
